After more than 8 years, my time at Transported Audio has come to a close. During that time I've had the privilege of working on countless projects of all shapes and sizes, all of which continue to inspire me to this day. Thank you to all of the wonderful clients and collaborators from over the years, and I look forward to more continued work together as I enter the next phase of my career.

Good Bad Things — @hulu premiere last week.

Had the honor of collaborating with my dear friend @dannykurtzman — an incredible actor, writer, and creative force — on a photo series that premiered alongside the film @goodbadthingsfilm

Danny is someone who leads with vulnerability, vision, and intention. These images reflect that — exploring disabled embodiment with raw honesty, sensuality, and strength. Not to provoke or inspire, but to simply be seen.

Grateful to help bring this story to life and be part of a project that pushes culture forward.

On May 13th, the night Good Bad Things premiered on @hulu, we hosted a gallery party that brought another layer of storytelling to life. In collaboration with the brilliant photographer @larsensotelo, we created a series of images that center the raw, unfiltered beauty of a disabled body.

These aren’t photos meant to shock or inspire. They are an invitation. To see. To feel. To witness disabled embodiment as beautiful, sensual, human — not in spite of disability, but because of it.

This event wasn’t just about a film or a collection of photographs. It’s about shifting perception. It’s about declaring that disabled stories — and disabled bodies — belong in art, in film, in the culture at large.

Danny, a young man with muscular dystrophy, steps out of his comfort zone and into the world of online dating. An unexpected match with dynamic photographer Madi challenges him to open up and sparks a profound journey of self-acceptance.

This was one of my absolute favorites from Slamdance. With GOOD BAD THINGS, you’re invited into a deeply personal story that’s both refreshing and overdue. Danny (played by co-writer Danny Kurtzman) doesn’t let his disability define him—and the film doesn’t either. Instead, it shows a journey of real love, raw vulnerability, and self-worth. Shane D. Stanger’s directorial debut is something special, blending authenticity with sincerity in a way that feels effortless but is anything but.

Kurtzman isn’t just acting; he’s sharing a lived truth. His performance resonates because it comes from somewhere real, grounding the film in emotion and honesty. Madi (Jessica Parker Kennedy) becomes a catalyst, not a savior, and their chemistry is quietly powerful. Stanger and Kurtzman’s friendship bleeds into the story, and that personal connection transforms what could’ve been a small indie into something universally touching.

The film’s greatest strength lies in its ability to connect: to show disability without pity, to reveal love without idealizing it, and to celebrate imperfections without forcing sentimentality. This is storytelling done right—real, resonant, and remarkably human.

I can’t recommend it enough.

Getting to be the opening night film at SLAMDANCE, in a theater as stunning and iconic as the Egyptian, truly transcended what I had dreamed was possible for @outofplainsightfilm. To see a packed theater of more than 500 PEOPLE connecting with the science and the journalism — at a time when both are more important than ever — gave me chills and truly moved me to tears.

From our very first call, to all the tech checks and the stress (and excitement!) when we SOLD OUT almost immediately … to the heartfelt filmmakers welcome at the @directorsguild and “Market Monday” with the Filmmaker Distribution Collective, and all the incredible films and premieres that we got to celebrate together … I was just so blown away by the energy — and the entire community that makes Slamdance the legendary festival that it is.

And as I was listening this week to our opening-night Q&A (which was turned into a podcast episode on @slamdancefirstfilm!!), I was reminded of just how much everyone on our team — helmed by our immensely talented OGs @danielstraub @austinstraub @james_ellington_ — has poured into the making of this film. @totallysketch and @_janagallagher are such thoughtful moderators and really got to the heart and spirit of what we set out to do.

I continue to be so inspired by all the great filmmakers we met that week, and I was truly in awe seeing the whole Slamdance team in action (bigggg shout outs to Peter Baxter, @prachman @thepostcard @annaleeawesome @dgkoproductions @rahulbbbarkley @gabrielmeckert @caydenturnbow @torichikowitz and the entire squad!!!) This year’s festival truly did feel like summer camp, as @thepostcard put it in her closing remarks, and we met SO MANY great people that I have no doubt will become lifelong friends.

And huge thanks to all our friends and colleagues who have supported us through all the highs — and also the very low lows. This film wouldn’t exist without so many of you believing that we could do this, and we hope to continue to do you all proud ❤️

Very proud of one of my close friends, Shane Stanger, and his business partner, Rob Robbins, on their “grand re-opening” of The Baked Bear on the Hermosa Beach boardwalk. Shane and Rob, childhood friends, opened up their first establishment in 2013 in Pacific Beach in San Diego, CA. They’ve since grown The Baked Bear to 30 locations spanning over 12 US States. They’ve worked tremendously hard to get The Baked Bear where it is today and they’ve truly created something special. The fresh baked cookies, ice cream, ice cream cookie-sandwiches and other sweet treats are 10/10.

Next time you’re on the Hermosa Beach boardwalk stop by and satisfy your sweet tooth!
