Baton Rouge artists Lil Yella & Parres Craft just dropped their new “GMT Remix” music video, now available on YouTube and all streaming platforms. 🔥💚

Lil Yella is a Vietnamese rapper from Baton Rouge who has built strong connections with the Never Broke Again camp, the movement best known for launching the career of Baton Rouge rap star NBA YoungBoy. Yella has collaborated with multiple artists connected to NBA, including YoungBoy himself, while continuing to represent his Vietnamese-American identity through his music. His catalog also includes collaborations with major Southern artists including Kevin Gates, Lil Boosie, Future, Yo Gotti and Waka Flocka Flame.

Parres Craft is another Baton Rouge artist, but his career has taken him far beyond Louisiana. He has spent roughly the last 15 years living in Asia, splitting his time between China and Thailand, where he immersed himself in the local culture and even learned to speak Chinese. He now resides in Bangkok, where he continues building his career as an international artist. His music blends hip-hop, R&B, pop, Afrobeats and EDM, reflecting the different cultures he has experienced throughout his life.

That international connection makes “GMT Remix” especially interesting. You have two artists who both come from Baton Rouge but have taken completely different paths — Lil Yella remaining closely connected to the Louisiana and Southern rap scene, while Parres Craft has spent years building relationships and creating music throughout Asia. Parres previously released the original “GMT” with Thai artists Rahboy & Wilai in 2025, making this remix another continuation of his connection between American hip-hop and Asia.

How’s Lil Yella & Parres Craft’s “GMT Remix” sounding⁉️🔥
