Our weeks have been packed with so much good I feel like if I don’t share, it’s like it never happened. Using my favorite Dolly song because we are celebrating a life well lived. What an inspiration of kindness she was to us all. Trying out this new “multiple captions” feature. Here goes!

Back at our Bromley reno to check out the cabinetry progress and to work out the tile details at the fireplace. We are using a zellige mosaic so we are capping the edges with a half round tile to cover both the backer board and the tile edge.

Another week, another install! This week we installed the majority of the first floor furnishings. The custom rugs are still on their way soon

@savannahhmullin getting everything just right

@pahrva was able to get in the same day as our delivery to hang the artwork and mirrors.

That light makes the room sing.

Another day, another install. I think this makes 5 in 2 weeks! @pahrva was back again installing a house full of art over at our Spanish Modern Reno. These details make a world of difference in a home.

A moment for the gallery wall.

I popped over to celebrate the grand opening of my sister’s new business, @backninegolf_shortpump . Golf simulators mixed with a swanky, vintage club. It’s even more perfect than I imagined. Check them out!

Loved this moment in the restroom

Not the most glamorous shot but this is a representation of one of TWO whole home design documentation sets we are issuing this coming week. Every design decision documented with precision to save the contractor from guessing or having to call our clients (or us) a thousand times. We work hard to get ahead of what’s needed since we’ve been answering contractors questions for decades.

We had the pleasure of selecting stone for @boscobeltrace lot 7! We made incredible progress nailing down every selection.

It’s rare we can knock out all selections on the first go but @empirerva was stocked with beautiful pieces and @spruce_rva was organized and ready to go.

I had to stretch to find this one but it’s perfect.

This might be my favorite. That incredible stone was PERFECT for our small powder vanity. Look how incredible it wil

When the island is this good, the seating has to keep up. The Amalfi Counter Stool layers seagrass, teak, and @cryptonfabric, the kind of material mix designers reach for when a kitchen needs to feel finished, not just furnished.

What an honor it was to host my friend KK‘s new fabric launch and remnant sale. There are some people that you meet in this world that continuously inspire you. For me, those people tend to be kind, generous, fiercely creative, smart and passionate about life. KK is one of those people. It was also my joy to see the library of her work since launching her first collection on display today. She has strategically grown as a textile designer, weathering setbacks, industry challenges and strives to design pieces that we designers want to use again and again. Congratulations, KK! Thank you for letting us be a part of your new launch! 💕 (and special thanks to Hillary for creating yet another beautiful flower arrangement!).

This is going to be a “December to remember” for certain if this first week was any indication. And looking ahead at the calendar I think I’m right. Not shown was our team working on plans for our Roanoke full home renovation and addition, reviewing client feedback from our past two presentations so we can jump into selections, booking flights to kick off a project in Illinois in January, contractor walkthrough for a new remodel, prepping for 3 major installs in the next two weeks the first of which is THIS Friday, packing up the office, our first RVA snow and, oh yeah, decorating for Christmas. Let’s GO! #weeklyedit #decembertoremember #jtwdesign #designwithintention
