Happy #FollowFriday, Booksta family! 📚✨

Hope you all had a soft summer ☀️ This week, I’m showing some love to 15 incredible Bookstagrammers who are ALWAYS bringing the heat! 🔥 Thanks to them, my TBR stays growing… and honestly, I loveeeee it! From the thoughtful reviews and bookish experiences to the beautiful visuals, their content never misses.

One of my absolute favorite things about Bookstagram is finding people who truly GET IT. 🫶🏽 The endless yapping about books, chats about book characters, and talking about how a story made us feel somehow turns complete strangers into lifelong book besties.

That’s what makes this community so special. There’s so much genuine love, support, and some of the BEST bookish conversations happening here, and I’m beyond grateful to be a part of it.

Whether you’re into literary fiction, thrillers, historical fiction, second chances, suspense, or you simply read for the vibes, there’s an account here you’re going to love! 📖

Show these 15 amazing creators some love in the comments, and tag your favorite Bookstagrammers below so I can discover even MORE incredible accounts to follow! 💕

📦📚 This week’s Book Mail was GOOD to me! 😍

My favorite bookish auntie Shannon @shanslocdnbooked sent me TWO books from the Treacherous Twin series by Natisha Raynor plus some goodies and y’all already know I’ve been DEEP in the messiness of this series! 😂🙌🏾 I also received two books from Author Charity Shane, the absolutely GORGEOUS Watercolors by Evelyn Latrice, AND some bookish merch from Greyce Huffington that includes a tote and T-shirt! 🛍️👕

Books + bookish merch = my kind of happy mail! 🥰📚 Now the real question is… Did you receive any BookMail this week 👀 let me know in the comments.

#ThrowbackThursday October 2025 when I decided to throw caution to the wind and travel solo for my very first book event Family First Fire Always 🔥 🫣 If you’re thinking about attending book events alone, DO IT❕

I was out of my element, but team @inkspired_events made me feel like I was with family! Auntie Shan, Ms. Nat, Ambi, Shea, Tasha, and Coco put on an intimate event and I’m so glad I decided to go.

I’ve met so many beautiful women, got to meet @_jahquelj @authoressbriyannamichelle @authorcwilson @wesleighsiobhan and so many others. I def “fan girled” lol, so much talent under one roof! I didn’t take many pics bc I was actually enjoying myself at the masquerade sneaker ball at Case House ☺️🎭A time was had!

You all forever have my support and I can’t wait to see you at the next event 🫶🏾✨

🚨 BOOK BALLERS & BOOK BADDIES… GET INTO THIS SERIES! 🚨📚

I’m currently on Book 3 of the Treacherous Twin series by Natisha Raynor, and babyyyyyy… THIS is exactly what I needed! I’m so mad I waited this long to get into this series 😂🙌🏾 but shoutout to my book Sistah’s and Teetee for the recommendation! I was fighting for my life in a reading slump, and these books came through with MESS, DRAMA, CHAOS, SECRETS, and enough foolishness to have me fully invested! 😭😂

So of course, I had to pull out my “OOOH CHILE’!” moments from each book so far because there have been PLENTY! 👀☕️ Every time I think these people are about to act right… THEY DO NOT. And quite frankly, I appreciate their commitment to keeping me entertained. 😂

If this series has been sitting on your TBR, MOVE IT UP! And if you’ve already read it, PLEASE come talk to me because I need somebody to discuss this mess with! 😩😂

The reading slump is officially OVER! 💃🏾📖🔥

Who else has read the Treacherous Twin series?! And more importantly… which book had you saying “OOOH CHILE’!” the loudest?! 👀👇🏾

Birthday recap because apparently y’all decided ONE DAY simply wasn’t enough to celebrate meeee! 🥹🦁🥰♌️🎉

When I say I felt LOVED… baby, I mean LOVED DOWNNNNN. And honestly, I STILL feel it. 🥹 From the calls, texts, posts, cards, gifts, flowers, food, surprises, decorations, money spent, time given, plans made, and every single thoughtful gesture in between… y’all did y’all BIG ONE for me! 😭👏🏾

My Lit Life Lounge/book club family, my staff, my actual family, my honorary family, and my very close friends… THANK YOU. 🫶🏾 Y’all made this birthday WEEK one that I will never forget. Every little thing reminded me just how blessed I am to have people in my life who don’t just say they love me…they SHOW IT. And THAT? Whew. 🥹💜

More than anything, I thank GOD for each and every one of you. 🙏🏾 I don’t take genuine love, friendship, support, community, or people showing up for me lightly. Life gets busy. Everybody has their own ish going on. So for y’all to take the time to make sure I felt seen, celebrated, appreciated, and special means more to me than I could ever fit into a caption.

I love y’all BAD. Like real bad. 🥹😂💜

Nowwww… with all that sentimental stuff out the way…

Y’ALL DONE SET THE BAR TOO DAMN HIGH. 😭😂 Because next year?! Baby, I’m expecting fireworks, a parade, a marching band, somebody releasing doves, AND my face projected on the side of a building at this point. 😂😂😂 Don’t start no shit you can’t keep up!

Because one thing about it… Y’ALL DID Y’ALL BIG ONE FOR THE BIG LEO! ♌️🔥🥳

Thank you for making me feel like the most loved girl in the world. I pray the love y’all poured into me comes back to each of you TENFOLD. 🫶🏾🙏🏾💜

30 something was welcomed with LOVE, and I couldn’t have asked for anything more. 🥹🎂♌️

🎬 Black Wall Street • Greenwood District Series

Tone of Project: Fun, witty and sexy. But it takes itself seriously!

Backstory: A contemporary reimagining of Black Wall Street. The founding families of Greenwood didn’t just survive history - they changed it. After successfully defending the District during the Tulsa Race Massacre Defense of 1921, families like the Daltons collectively built one of the most prosperous Black communities in America. Today, their billionaire heirs have the influence, the expectations and the headlines to prove it. What they don’t have? Simple love lives. Between rival perspectives, hidden identities, ambitious dreams, community tensions and chemistry that refuses to mind its business, Greenwood’s next generation quickly learns that money can open doors... but it can’t keep trouble out.

Welcome to Greenwood, where legacy is inherited, attraction is inconvenient and everyone has something worth protecting.

Created by Tulsa, Oklahoma native, Award-Winning Independent Filmmaker & Author | Debut Film, Timeless (2025), streaming now on @tubi as a part of the @hbcufirstlook Inaugural Collection 💙❤️
