After four years (already!), we were so happy to be back at X-site at Taipei Fine Arts Museum, the home of Blue House.

This time, we were honoured to be invited by this year’s winner, @shapeblank , and the museum @tfam_museum and associate art researcher/ mother of X-site @lynn.h.h to join the talk and panel alongside the 2017 and 2018 X-site teams — associate professor @lingli_tseng , architect Pei Jung Lin and moderator Shao Yu Huang, director of Architecture department of NTUT. We shared our journey after X-site and reflected on what this programme has meant to us. Looking back, we still can’t believe we had the chance to create something so bold — something we might never be crazy enough to do again. 🙈

Congratulations to this year’s team for creating such a subtle and beautiful work — like a sheet of paper gently lifting off the ground. It was wonderful to see people enjoying the space under the sun.

It was also precious to hear stories from other X-site teams and share the challenges and memories behind each work.

Our team member Lydia also shared her stone carving practice, @whispersofstone_ , and her experience as part of @handstogether2013 for the first time on such a big stage. It was an incredibly exciting and emotional moment for her. 🥲💧

We can never thank everyone enough for creating Blue House together. These memories will stay with us forever. 💙

Thank you, and congratulations again to the X-site 2026 team, @shapeblank. May you fully enjoy this summer that belongs to you.✨
