May was a beautiful, sun-kissed blur of bright yellow, heavy carb-loading, and zero regrets. I didn’t exactly hit the gym, but we definitely hit the pool, the kitchen, and all the best summer vibes. ☀️💛🥭 0. Cover photo 1. Me and my absolute favorite yellow person. 💛 2 & 3: Peak mango season favourites: Fresh mango salsa over sourdough, and fluffy mango pancakes because why not? 🥞🥭 4: A little lemon-yellow crochet bag I finished up this month. 🧶 5: Surviving the brutal summer heat the best way I know with endless hydrating face masks. 🧖🏽‍♀️ 6 & 7: Family swim time! Learning to swim at this age is easily one of the hardest things I’ve done, but it’s officially become our favorite weekend family affair. Followed by the mandatory post-swim brunch, of course. 🏊🏽‍♂️🥞 8: Crafting, painting and bonding with some incredible women while learning more about womanhood. 🎨🖌️ 9: Sneaking in some necessary self-care selfies and a little bit of personal love. 🥰 10: A creative art session with my amazing team at work. 11: A proud mama moment: Kiash officially graduated from EYP! 🎓✨ 12 & 13: The summer food highlights: Mango sticky rice alongside a freshly painted teapot, healthy chia-seed fruit pudding, homemade ghee samosas, and savory vegetable pancakes. 🥟🥭 14: My beautiful niece Amaari completely stealing my heart with her cuteness! 🥹🍼 15: Ending the month with a random selfie and plenty of good vibes. 🤍 Zero routines were maintained this month. Hopefully, June brings some steps, but May was perfect just the way it was. ☀️💛

They say the best part of traveling is experiencing the local food, and I’m so happy Sharan brought that experience home to me! 🥡 From the addictive White Rabbit candies to these wonderfully mild snacks that aren’t overly sweet, this haul is a dream. The red bean sweets were definitely my absolute favourite! 🫘 Should I do a full review of each one?

With an absolute mountain of work, and non-existent sleep schedules, completely out of my depth - yet somehow, looking back, I still found a beautiful way to live through it. A very late, chaotic, but grateful look at April. 0: The April grid. 1 & 2: Celebrating Puthandu (Tamil New Year) with a heavy, soulful festive breakfast and lunch spread. 🪔🍛 3, 4 & 5: Sharan came back from China with suitcases packed entirely with love, incredible goodies, and a massive haul of snacks and those White Rabbit candies!! Mind blowing. 🍬📦 6: A little Lego collab with Kiash. Building cars and core memories. 🏎️ 7: The reality of a brutal corporate month: powered entirely by late-night : cranberry coffees and comforting hot chocolates. ☕️🍫 8: Balcony-to-table therapy! Harvested my first batch of homegrown palak and turned it into the best Dal Palak ever. 🌱🍲 9: When work stress peaks, my brain chooses chaos: late-night all-nighters combined with impulsive midnight baking sessions. Carb-loading and sugar rushes to survive - Just Aisha things, don’t ask. 🥞👩🏽‍🍳 10: A trip to Chennai for elections and back with a beautifully loud, full house. Felt the absolute joy & chaos of family, but missed Appa just a little more this month. Really wished he was there to see it all. 🤍 It wasn’t perfect, it wasn’t balanced, but it was incredibly full. #april2026 #memories #aprildump

This week, the world felt heavy. The kind of tired that settles in the bones and dims the spirit. But today, the rhythm changed. A slow morning to mend what was frayed. Water for the roots, a quiet prayer for the soul, and the steam of kozhukattai, no hurry, no demands just the gentle medicine of home, nature, and the ones who keep my heart warm. Healing, one slow breath at a time. #slowmorning #saturday #healingmysoul
