Mental health 🧠 🌐 is something we all as a collective 🙇🏽‍♀️🙇🏽‍♂️🙇‍♀️🙇🏿‍♂️ should always make an effort to understand.

While it is something much more discussed in this generation, having been an underrated topic affecting so many, we need to keep the conversation going.

In May, these are some of the following mental and physical health conditions that are discussed:

• Mental Health Awareness Month 🧘🏾‍♀️🧘🧘🏿‍♂️: Includes Mental Health Week (May 4–10) and focused efforts on child and youth mental health.

• Speech and Hearing Month👂🏼🗣️: Raising awareness about communication disorders.

• Vision Health Month 👀: Focused on eye health and blindness prevention.

• Brain Tumour Awareness Month 🧠👩🏽‍⚕️: Highlighting the impact of brain tumors and the need for research.

• Lupus Awareness Month 💜: Dedicated to increasing public understanding of this autoimmune disease.

• Celiac Awareness Month 🏥: Focused on gluten-free living and digestive health.

Let’s keep the conversation going and be our brother’s and sister’s keeper that may be affected by such, reminding them they aren’t alone 🫂.
