@sharedcustodycomedy I am taking portraits with my film camera at all the Shared Custody shows. It feels like Christmas every time I get them developed.

HOUSTON & CHICAGO this weekend with the cute boi squad of @craigpconant & @zackchapaloni | Note: This post NOT sponsored by Fat Sal’s but it was fueled by it. Also, there’s only 4300 tickets left for Sunday’s show.

My very first Comedy Album SPARKLES is live! Thank you @aspecialthingrecords what a week to release you’re first comedy album with all the #siriussabastian

Here’s hoping Sparkles makes it to Sirius. Sirius was a big driver for me pushing this puppy out. In the mean time please purchase or download my album. I poured a lot of love into. It’s great! Link in bio! #melstephens

Fun fact the pause at the top of this video is from the moment I hit record to posing I forgot what I selected. My adhd is on fire.

🎭🎥🎤📺✍️ IAMA Works! Our ensemble, staff, and board members are doing incredible work across mediums and across the country. Check out some of their amazing projects below ⬇️

🎭 Sarah Utterback understudied two roles in AN AMERICAN DAUGHTER by Wendy Wasserstein at The Signature Theatre in NYC this summer and was thrilled to make her Off-Broadway debut.

🎭 Rosalind Bevan is Associate Directing the wry, heartfelt world premiere comedy-drama, THE VISITORS by Bryna Turner, directed by Jenna Worsham (ARROWHEAD, IAMA) at 2nd Stage in NYC October 21 - December 6, 2026.

🎥 Marnie Price stars in MONEY’S TIGHT, a musical-comedy-horror short film will have its world premiere at Film Quest 2026

✍️Nicholas Pilapil’s new play, commissioned by Playwrights’ Arena & UCLA’s Diversifying the Classics, BEAST AMONG MEN was presented at the 2026 LA Escena Festival this September.

🎥 Sharon Lawrence stars in THE EXIT STATE, a horror thriller headlining ScreamFest this October.

🎤 Mel Stephens’ newest comedy show SHARED CUSTODY COMEDY, returns at the Elysian Vault October 8 at 8:30 PM. It’s a brilliant, dysfunctional comedy show, where, much like a divorce, nothing is consistent except the laughter.

🎭 Lexi Sloan produces the Los Angeles premiere of A CASE FOR THE EXISTENCE OF GOD at Rogue Machine Theatre. This intimate, deeply moving play about two fathers who form an unexpected bond through shared vulnerability, parenthood, and economic uncertainty runs from September 5 - October 11, 2026.

🚨 THE CUSTODY AGREEMENT IS OFFICIAL. 🚨
Mel Stephens and I are proud-ish to announce the arrival of our new comedy show:
SHARED CUSTODY COMEDY 👶💔🎤
We couldn’t make the relationship work, but we can split custody of a microphone.
Come celebrate our first night of questionable parenting, poor decisions, and very funny people.
📍 Lyric Hyperion
📅 September 10
🚪 Doors 7PM | Show 7:30PM
No lawyers. No mediation. Just comedy.

Because sometimes one person’s pain is another person’s punchline.
Shared Custody Comedy: like Christmas on crack, and you never know which parent is picking you up.

(BIG thank you to @bernarderner for designing and creating our poster!!)
