📚 Homework Challenge: Read the script before you watch the screen.

Reading screenplays trains you to separate what's on the page from what actors, directors, editors, and writers bring to life.

🎬 Read a movie you've never seen, then watch it and compare. 🎭 Read a movie you know well and discover what came from the performances. 📺 Repeat with a TV episode.

Need scripts? Check out IMSDb, Simply Scripts, Script Slug, The Script Lab, and BBC Writersroom.

Happy reading! 🎥📖

🌟 Huge congratulations to Nadia Hovan on signing with DiCaro Talent Management! 🌟

Nadia's journey to our program began thanks to a referral from longtime Act With Purpose community member Laura Page, and I couldn't be more grateful she made that introduction.

What makes Nadia's story especially inspiring is that she has already spent many successful years working behind the scenes in television and film. Yet despite her experience, she approached every class with curiosity, humility, and a genuine desire to keep learning and growing.

One of my favorite things to witness is women lifting up other women, sharing knowledge, and inspiring one another. Seeing Nadia do that while also serving as a role model for her daughter, Veronica, was truly special. Watching the two of them train together was one of the highlights of this past semester.

As a performer, Nadia's work is grounded, authentic, and dynamic. She has a way of capturing your attention from the very first moment and drawing you into the story with honesty and confidence.

It's no surprise to me that she has now signed with DiCaro Talent Management.

Nadia, I know there are great things ahead. More than anything, I'm simply proud to have had the opportunity to work with you. Congratulations on this exciting next chapter—we'll all be cheering you on!
