Spinning webs with a sprinkle of dark magic. What else could you ask for?

Dracula Day feels incomplete without the women who made desire feel dangerous.

Before vampires became sharp teeth and silk capes, there was Carmilla, lingering at the edge of candlelight, seduction disguised as devotion, hunger wrapped in velvet and lace.

Not a monster lurking in the dark.
A woman who became the dark.

There’s something beautifully unsettling about her story still surviving centuries later. The intimacy. The obsession. The slow unraveling between love and consumption.

Maybe that’s why gothic stories endure.
They understand that the most terrifying things rarely arrive snarling.

Sometimes they arrive softly.
With a kiss.
With a promise.
With teeth hidden behind longing.

Happy Dracula Day to the ones who prefer their horror romantic. 🩸

Some brands decorate a space.
@webspellsdesign was built to haunt one.

Inspired by cathedral arches, spider silk, and the romance of forgotten architecture, this identity leans into the tension between elegance and unease. Every line was drawn to feel intricate, consuming, almost alive. Like something spun in the dark and left waiting for the right eyes to find it.

Not gothic for the sake of trend.
Gothic as atmosphere.
As obsession.
As devotion to the beautifully macabre.

For the ones who want their homes to feel less like rooms
and more like relics from another world. 🕸️

Beltane, under Lilith. 🖤

Not soft spring.
Not gentle bloom.

This is fire in the blood.
Hunger waking, the body remembering it was never meant to be tamed.

Lilith doesn’t ask permission to bloom.
She burns. She coils. She chooses.

Wrapped in instinct. Crowned in defiance.
Half myth, half warning.

And beneath a full moon in Scorpio,
nothing stays hidden.

Desire rises to the surface.
Truth cuts deeper than comfort.
What’s been buried begins to breathe again.

This moon asks for transformation…
to shed what you’ve outgrown,
to face what you’ve tried to silence,
to reclaim the parts of you that refuse to stay small.

Because Beltane isn’t just about fertility,
it’s about desire without apology.
Creation without restraint.
Power that refuses to be softened for comfort.

So if something in you feels louder tonight…
wilder, sharper, impossible to ignore…

Good. Let it rise. 🔥

What part of you is asking to be unleashed?

Not all spirits are made in the light.

Some are shaped in shadow.
Where grain is studied, oak is chosen with intention and time is allowed to speak without interruption.

Emerson Spirits was not built to follow the familiar. It was built in quiet defiance of it.

From the beginning, the vision was unmistakable…a presence steeped in the atmosphere of Edgar Allan Poe,
woven with the darker spirits of wood and wing.

Not as ornament, but as truth.
Of what distilling has always been…
earth, wood, fire, and something that lingers just beyond reason.

Rooted in discipline, governed by precision, yet guided by instinct, environment and the unseen hand of cask and climate.

Here, refinement is not softness. And rebellion is not noise.

It is the refusal to settle for what is customary when something greater can be composed.

To pursue not what is expected, but what the spirit demands. From formula to maturation, every decision leaves its mark…
long before the pour ever meets the glass.

This is Emerson Spirits. Where craft is studied, oak is honored and something deeper is always at work.

Draw first. Think never.
Let the folklore bite back.

Mari Lwyd is winter folklore at its most playful and feral. A horse’s skull crowned in ribbons, wrapped in cloth, knocking at your door and demanding a singing riddle battle for entry. Outsing her and she leaves. Lose and she comes inside, drinks your ale, steals your food, and leaves you luck in return. A beautiful reminder that our ancestors didn’t just survive the dark months. They teased them, bargained with them, and invited a little chaos in on purpose.

Some people call it design. I call it stitching stories into the dark and seeing what wakes up.
