Little bit of a late post on this life update. I was worried this day would never come. There were days, weeks, and months of wanting to give up, feeling like I couldn’t do it, stuck at a road block that didn’t care about how much I wanted it. But the chapter of College has finally ended. I didn’t intend for it to take this long, but I guess the universe decided I needed a scenic route to graduation. A special thanks to @riolinski, @leons_7, and @sharkpastel for giving me permission to use their art for my graduation cap and to @delacoury for creating the cover for this post! Being surrounded by the group that helped me survive college and also recorded my favorite song’s music video down the road from my school made the day so much better. And finally thank you to @amber.smith44 who printed out the Polaroids and sent them to me and understands how much graduating with Stray Kids near me meant. Even though they’ll never see this as they don’t have Instagram, I want to shout out my parents who have been there for every moment, every decision, every crying session, every time I felt like I couldn’t do it. They talked with me on everything from papers to teachers to whether I wanted to even finish college. They stood by me and supported me when I needed it the most and I’ll forever be grateful for that. P.S. don’t ever go to a graduation with a migraine. The universe will laugh at you in the form of bagpipes and a hot arena.
