You see a golden, crispy chop. Behind it are hours you never see.

We cook the filling, saute it. Each portion is shaped by hand, coated in flour, egg and breadcrumbs, chilled, and finally fried.

Alongside it comes our freshly made kasundi.

Every stage takes someone’s time. And here in the UK, that means wages, business rates, transport and energy bills, before a single chop reaches your plate.

We know every pound matters. It matters to you, and it matters to the small business you’re buying from.

Our prices help us pay for that care, keep the kitchen going and bring a little piece of Calcutta to your table.

When you order from us, you help make the next batch possible.

Thank you for giving our food a place at your table. ❤️

Calcutta Crravings.
Handmade with care.

From early morning drives through the quiet streets of London to sourcing the freshest ingredients at Billingsgate Market, every little detail matters.

Because the secret behind a delicious Golda Chingri Malaikari isn't just the cooking - it's the freshness, the quality, and the love that goes into every step. 🦐

Good food begins long before the kitchen comes alive.
