What that really translates to, is that you want to be STRONG, gain MASS, and MUSCLE. You will go through phases where you’re building, and phases where you are chipping away at your sculpture 💎⁣
⁣
You can’t do that without: ⁣
➖ Calorie Surplus: YES, you will gain weight. NO, you won’t blow up like big mama if you are smart and consistent.⁣
➖ Lifting weights - Lifting is beneficial for damn near everyone, but for women especially, lifting weights can improve self esteem, self efficacy, and help significantly with reducing osteoporosis down the track. ⁣
➖ Lifting heavy - Strength training is how we build the muscle mass most efficiently. Keep your reps between 6-10RM loads. Please, for the love of God, DON’T lift heavy without correct form, unless you want to injure yourself then all good go for it. ⁣
➖ Then later, once you’re stronger, heavier, eating a good amount of calories, and you think it’s time to get leaner so your muscles can come out of hibernation... You chip away slowly to create your sculpture. Chip too fast and you will chip whole chunks off, be patient with the process. ⁣
