A weekend at Kurve in Adelboden 🍄⛰️

We spent our mornings in the forests around Adelboden, baskets in hand, searching the mossy ground for mushrooms. Every find was a small celebration, and everyone learned a little along the way about what to pick and what to leave.

Back at Kurve, our harvest went straight into the kitchen. Everyone pitched in, chopping, stirring, tasting, and turning what we’d gathered into a meal we shared around one long table. In between, there were walks, fresh autumn air, and plenty of time to simply be outside and take in the mountains.

The evenings were slow and warm, filled with food, laughter, and conversations about the last two years and everything still ahead. Thank you, Kurve, for being the perfect home base for it all 🧡 @kurve.adelboden @ferus.social

And we got to share it with the rookies and friends of MRC who have shaped this community from the very beginning. Without you, none of this would be what it is.

Mountain Rookie Club is now 2 years old. Here’s to many more weekends like this one, together.

THE RUN STRONG PROGRAM IN BERN is back 💖

Tomorrow we kick off our third 12-week Run Strong training cycle! We can’t wait to take on the new season together—building endurance, getting stronger and showing up for each other.

Here’s what’s waiting for you 👀

TUESDAYS — ENDURANCE & STRENGTH
We’ll alternate between longer base endurance runs and dedicated running-specific strength sessions, focusing on stronger legs and a strong core.

💖Run weeks: 18:15 at SDS HQ, Waldeggstrasse 40A, 3097 Liebefeld.
💖Strength weeks: the location will depend on the weather and will be shared in the group chat—always in or near Liebefeld.

THURSDAYS — SPEED & THRESHOLD
Faster sessions on the Liebefeld track or hill repeats, alternating with threshold training. Plus a strength-focused finisher to build strong ankles, knees and hips 🔥

💖18:00 at Liebefeld Track.
For hill sessions, the meeting point will be announced in the group chat.

Haven’t signed up for the full cycle but would love to join a single session? You absolutely can! DM us to book your spot 👀🤍

Let’s run strong, together.

Introducing the first SANE Retreat

Together with @thecambrianadelboden we brought the first edition of SOUL TO SUMMIT to life in the Bernese mountains.

Athletes and creatives from five different countries came together in Adelboden for a weekend dedicated to movement, well-being and meaningful connection.

From morning yoga and trail runs through the mountains to ice baths, creative sessions and meditation — we stepped away from the everyday to move, connect and reset, surrounded by one of the most beautiful settings we could have asked for.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and brought their energy to this first edition and to the Cambrian for creating such an incredible home for the weekend.

SOUL TO SUMMIT — Chapter 01.
More to come.

PHASE 3
We’re officially in our last phase of the 12-week Run Strong Cycle.

Over the past 9 weeks we built base endurance with Tuesday Zone 2 runs, gradually adding distance each week — leading up to today’s 10K. For some of you girls, this will be the first time running this far, and we could not be more proud of you 🥹

Thursdays were all about Zone 3-4 and intervals, with strength and stability work every second week. The improvement in this group is real, and watching this community come together has been so special to see.

New Training Cycle starting end of September, getting us ready for winter training 👀

If you want to train outdoors at least once a week, train alongside like-minded women, get coached, and improve your running AND strength — THIS IS FOR YOU 😍

✨Sign-ups opening soon — BERN BASED ONLY
