November 2021 highlight- accomplishing Disney + Universal! This trip was filled with challenges + injuries. But we were able to “keep calm + carry on.” We made many memories as a family + walked away, well I limped 🤣 away stronger. Thanks again to my sweet momma for being an Angel at my side.

October 2021 highlight #2- meeting @ilibagizaimmaculee + speaking on the panel at the World Autism Conference! This was a full circle moment for all of us who went to Rwanda to work at @autismerwanda This was one of the most challenging yet fulfilling experiences. The best part was sharing this miracle with my mother. This was a HALLELUJAH moment!

September 2021 highlight- Ya-Ya (mom) + Pappy (Rick) getting married in Seaside. It was just us (family) + a magical night. God was all around us. There was a moment during our beach bonfire (making s’mores) that I looked at the ocean + it looked like glass. The moon was shining on the water + the reflection was breathtaking. Again, magical is the only way I can describe it. We laughed, we cried, we sang + danced. We celebrated as a new family.

If a picture is worth a thousand words then I need a thousand ways to say grateful. When I read Immaculée’s book, Left to Tell, I never would have imagined our paths would cross. My son’s Autism diagnosis brought suffering at times, but also many gifts. Gifts of a community + life changing opportunities to help others. Christy Papania-Jones, Director of the SNC met Immaculée at a book signing + realized soon it was a God connection. Immaculée’s best friend Rosine was in need of help in creating a educational system at her Autism school for children. After spending time in Rwanda with St. Nicholas Center World Outreach + Autisme Rwanda in 2020 meeting her today at the Autism Conference brought everything to full circle. So thankful! @rosineduquesne @autismerwanda @ilibagizaimmaculee @papaniajones
