Studio views. Throwing plates today, I noticed speckles on my wheel basin, and figured it was dirt, possibly from leaving a gardening tool on the wheel. Upon closer inspection I realized it was spray paint. @sharp_shootah_69 and I were both using my studio before the holidays and I was not so gracious with sharing space. Now that he’s off on a surf adventure on the other side of the pacific I was happy for the imperfect spray paint reminder that life is chaotic, messy and beautiful. #pottermom #studioview #beautifuleverydayceramics

It’s a goodbye for now.
I already miss so much Vancouver Island.
Last 10 days have been just amazing, good surf, mushroom picking and fishing with my best friends!
We are starting a new life in my beautiful home town, Siracusa and we can’t wait for you to visit us!

Thanks for the photo @bjaminbjamin and for sharing some good rides @sharp_shootah_69

With the 2024-2025 Vikes Swimming season coming to a close, we would like to bid-farewell to our 4 graduating athletes this season: Marc, Elijah, Issy and Will.

Marc showed incredible perseverance during his time as a Vike. He has been swimming on the team for 6 years, which culminated in his qualifying and swimming at his first USports championships this, his final year.

Elijah has also been a member of the Vikes for quite some time, achieving tons in the pool, keeping us all on track during workout, and ending it off with a medal at USports in the Men’s 4x200m freestyle relay.

Issy has been our sunshine on deck these three past years, and her enthusiasm and cheering will be greatly missed on deck. While an amazing cheerleader, she also had stellar performances as a Vike, finaling in multiple events at national championships.

Will has never backed down from a challenge, and this is clearly shown as he completed an engineering degree while simultaneously battling some of the toughest sets in the distance group. His mid-practice jokes, silliness and determination will be missed.

From all of us Vikes, we will miss you, and wish you the best in your future endeavours. :) 💛💙

🚨Day 1 Finals are upon us!🚨

All-star team member Erin Epp swam just off her PB this morning to qualify for the B-final. Seated in Lane 6 with a morning time of 2:38.74, Epp will be battling it out to beat her personal best of 2:36.88.
•
Keep a close eye on the blocks later on in the session; Elijah Agostinelli-Stull is currently sitting at the first alternate position, and may have the opportunity to crush his prelims swim during Day 1 finals.

Go Vikes! ⚡️

And that’s a wrap on the TYR pro series in Fort Lauderdale, Florida for 3 of our Vikes swimmers. This past week, Keir Ogilvie, Matthew MacDonald and Elijah Agostinelli-Stull competed at one of the premier swimming competitions of the world, matching up against Olympians, World Record Holders, and the most elite swimmers in the world. Keir Ogilvie led the way for the Vikes with a 19th place finish in the 100 Fly, breaking the Vikes record in the process. Overall, it was a valuable experience for all 3 athletes and an opportunity for them to see how they stack up against the fastest swimmers on the planet. #figurinetrend
