@sharpnoodlepresents @dr.kiyasu with his best Bristol performance yet at the sold out basement in @exchangebristol on 8-8-26. A fast, frenetic, sometimes absurd solo act but never short of utterly captivating. Understandably utterly exhausted afterwards, the headliner Kiyasu had the unenviable task of more shows throughout England this August! Catch him on the summer tour if you can for an unforgettable experience.

April 11th 2026 @goldenlionbriz

What a beautiful day from start to finish!!! Thank you so much to everyone who came out to the gig and who got down early to see me play. I really enjoyed myself. So many friends and so many of the noise family were there, it made for a very special day. Was lovely to play with an absolute stacked bill with Council Funded, @deathbygimp , @grottyscummerz , @dshappyboi , @sevenyearwaitinglist , @victimunit , @skat_injector , @junkiekut , @nailbreaker_ and @wulfgas , all of whom are lovely people, they all killed it!!!

At the end of my set I was honoured to put a terrible spin on one of my favourite songs of all time, “Freedom Run” by Kyuss joined on bass by my noisy sister @lavenderpsychosis . I enjoyed that so much and it was just magical to do it with someone whose joy makes everyone’s days better. My set was a tribute to my friend @arden__oliver who would of joined us on bass as well if she wasn’t away, sending her my love

Thanks also to @somerstownglen for the gorgeous photographs, @paleboartusk , @_alexvincze_ , @eggy.tapes , Kevin, all the staff at Golden Lion and the always helpful @startreksoundtech

It was the perfect send off to @sharpnoodlepresents and defined what this scene is all about, having fun whilst causing chaos and most importantly being yourself. Words can’t describe how much I’m going to miss Sharp Noodle and how much the promo and @linusfc has done for me. Playing or going to a Sharp Noodle gig is my second home, I feel so welcome and loved and it made me enjoy life to the fullest

Be sure to check out @bristolfasttimes in the future for all of your needs of horrible music

All photographs by Glen , thanks very much to him

Footage by @aggyguts and @dj_osu , thank you so much to them

Never stop supporting and enjoying local art, it brings the best out of everyone

I’ll be back soon. Love you all!!!

FAST TIMES #2

Come and help us 'celebrate' two decades of @atomckgrind !

10 September at @goldenlionbriz

**Featuring**

SHITBRAINS (LA) @shitbrains_la
Soon-to-be-legendary duo from Los Angeles. Stop-start chops, blasting, hardcore attitude. Call it grindcore, call it fastcore... call in sick the next day because this will hurt in the morning,
https://shitbrains.bandcamp.com/album/split-w-exorbitant-prices-must-diminish

DISEASE (Seattle) @disease_grind
Straight-up grinding fury with no mucking about (well probably some) that ought to appeal to anyone who likes INSECT WARFARE or PIZZA HI-FIVE.
https://diseasegrind.bandcamp.com/album/split-w-impulse-noise-2

TEIGNE (France) @teigne.ux
Blasting hardcore with emphasis on a huge, powerful sound. Very in-your-face.
https://teigne.bandcamp.com/album/resilience

ATOMÇK (Bristol) @atomckgrind
Blasting, Screeching. Songs that sound like they are going to hit a sick riff but just stop. You know the score. Twenty years of this, have mercy.
https://atomck.bandcamp.com/album/every-room-in-britain

LOACH (South Wales) @loachpv
South Wales' very own purveyors of powerviolence. Known for playing super-short sets so you'd better arrive sharpish.
