POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Last year my world turned a bit more pink and plaid than usual. I got to work on a series that brought back so many memories of growing up in the 90s. From Blockbuster, The Rainforest Cafe, the looks and the cute lil notebooks that @cjaensch made for us, @elleonprime was such a fun blast from the past!

Thank you to @floranahicepeda for bringing me on to the team and work on another project I’m super proud of!

The incredible women behind ELLE (out on @primevideo July 1) gathered on a staircase to celebrate the start of our second season! Had our fearless leader @reesewitherspoon been there I would have placed her on my lap.

All episodes of Yellowjackets Season 3 are NOW STREAMING on @paramountplus with @SHOWTIME!

DP Shasta Spahn (@shastaspahn) [Episodes 1, 3, 5, 7, 9] took us through the process of shooting this intense wilderness thriller, proudly supported by Keslow Camera Vancouver.

“In season two, we were locked in a cabin. We were on a stage. We didn't have scope. We had, you know, 12 Yellowjackets in a very small, two room dark cabin. Everything was piled in snow. And now we are moving into summer, and the Yellowjackets are gonna have food, and they're gonna have new shelter. We were gonna be shooting in this location that we found that was just so beautiful and so we weren't on stage… I really wanted to embrace this color palette of greens and browns and yellows. I was very specific, I had certain framing choices I really wanted to use, for the past storyline. It was supposed to be sort of like this beautiful idyllic landscape that they were living in, and then we knew all of this horror was gonna happen. So we really wanted the contrast of beauty with blood.” - Shasta Spahn (@shastaspahn)

Visit the link in our bio to read the full interview, and stay tuned for part two where we chat with DP Michael Wale, CSC (@michaelwale) [Episodes 2, 4, 6, 8, 10]
