happy saturday! today we’re highlighting big/little duo molly and shawna 👯‍♀️

big: @mollsfineberg
“Meeting Shawna has been not only a highlight of my Sigdelt experience, but a blessing to my entire college experience and life after that. I met Shawna during recruitment and from our first conversation about music theory and Wicked, I knew we were going to be connected somehow. As lovers of the arts, fashion, jellycats, and ranting about the wildest of topics, Shawna could not be more perfect of as a little and my twin flame. We do absolutely everything together, from random dinners on weekdays at the nicest restaurants, to Jellycat hunting, shopping, and even visiting her family in Philly, Shawna is the perfect side quest companion. Not only is she a fantastic little, but she is a pillar in my life. Shawna is so easy to talk to, extremely selfless, and one of the funniest people I’ve ever met. I am so grateful that Sigdelt brought me my platonic soulmate, my future bridesmaid, and my forever friend. I miss you every time we’re apart!! Love you so much!

xoxo,
Molly”

“everyone at open house and through rush said that they found some of their favorite people through sig delt, but i didn’t really believe them until i met molly. even though i wasn’t even sure about greek life at all before starting recruitment, we connected immediately, and i knew from day two of recruitment — even before my bid three days later — that i wanted her to be my big. from the moment we met, we didn’t know how to stop talking, and we haven’t stopped since. i haven’t ever met someone that i’ve clicked with so quickly and so well, someone who knows me so incredibly deeply after only having known each other for a year, and someone who matches not only my humor and quirks but just myself in so many ways. it seems like our paths were destined to cross, and i’m so thankful that they did — thanks to sig delt, i’ve gained not only a sister and mentor but my best friend.

sfas,
shawna”
