For the sun to know its own power, it must simply be willing to rise.
To be seen. To shine.
That is its nature.
Simply. Humbly. Honestly.
To be. Not more and not less
Then what it actually is.
And it is our nature too.
To simply be what we are.
All the way.

We are not here to OUTshine each other or compare one light to the next. Rather, we are here to amplify one another’s light.

It is only from insecurity that humans attempt to OUTshine one another. It is from insecurity that we over effort, compare or subconsciously attempt to prove our worthiness.

I’ve been there (we all have) The experience of insecurity is a natural part of growth & can signal that we are outgrowing our “safe zones”… like a formerly big fish in a small pond that now finds itself in the ocean… it can take some time to adjust, believe in ourselves & receive our belonging as we integrate a new level of life.

During my travels I’ve noticed a shift in my being into a sense of belonging, of security that stems from trust in the path & EXACTLY where I am on it.

I realized recently that I now feel secure enough to be humble; which initially felt like a paradox to the mind…

Secure enough to be humble.
Secure enough to be the student.
Secure enough to be the teacher.
Secure enough to know.
Secure enough to not know.

Humility is an open receptor site.
It is equally willing to speak and to listen.

A sense that all the work that has been done simply created the integrity to begin this next chapter. And perhaps it’s always that way. A preparation & an arrival. Only to begin another preparation for the next arrival.

Humility is
To celebrate self & to celebrate other.
To guide & be guided.
To inspire & be inspired.
The balance between the two feels so nice.

Here on my final day in Peru, I feel grateful for allies & guides in human, plant, animal & elemental forms.

For the element of fire & the opportunity to bookend my time here with a tipi ceremony praying with the fire all night into the morning, deepening my relation with tobacco & the fires of the temescal. Beautiful roads opening toward Moondance in July.

May we all be willing…
to simply rise, like the sun.

תחילת חורף 2023 , האולפן שלנו חדש חדש והמוזיקה חסרת משמעות.

מתוך העגמומיות של החורף והכאב של המלחמה, נולד ACC VOC.
זה דרך מקוצרת שלנו, אנשי האוזניים, לכתוב גיטרה אקוסטית ושירה.
התדר המשותף פה במצפה חיפש פשטות, לא עוד שעות של עריכה ומיקסים, משהו סימפל.
במשך שנה אספנו את המוזיקאים.ות האהובים.ות עלינו והזמנו אותם.ן אלינו לאולפן. חזרנו והדגשנו- סשנים קצרים..
משהו מאוד מאוד פשוט
גיטרה ושירה,
זה הכל

לאט לאט התחלנו להקליט ורעיונות חדשים עלו- אולי פסנתר, אולי סינת׳. זרמנו
אבל הקונספט עדיין שם:
אמן/ית מצפאי.ת, שיר מקורי בעברית, מיקרופון אחד, 2-3 טייקים, מיקס מאסטר וסיימנו.

כל השירים הוקלטו ב Frequency south תחת השפעת קנקן תה שחור משהו טוב טוב..
וכמובן מוקססו ומוסטרו על הקונסולה האהובה שלנו, בעזרת טייפ הקסטות שהוא חבר טוב שלנו כבר זמן מה..

מביט על ההרים שמביטים בי בחזרה, משקפים בי את המסע הפנימי שעברתי בעודי מטייל בין הגבעות.
האגמים הגבוהים, הבתוליים, חפים ממגע אדם זוהרים מול השמש, כל רוח שעוברת מניעה את נצנוץ האגם לאלפי נקודות אור ומשיכות מכחול של הטבע..
זה חלום? מי זה שחולם?
בתוך כל זה אני מוצא נשימה בתוכי, חוזר למרכז שלי. מגלה את הכוח הפנימי שלי.
כמה יופי יש בכל רגע
