POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Alhamdulillah, I have been truly blessed. I started in 1996, picking up the deceased just to earn some extra money. And now, nearly 30 years later, I am still washing, carrying, and burying the dead.

In that time, I have seen thousands of faces, stood over countless graves, and travelled across the world doing this work. But one thing never changes — you never forget them. Every soul has a story. Every جنازة carries a life that was once full of moments, memories, and people who loved them.

The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Visit the graves, for they remind you of the Hereafter.” (Sahih Muslim)

And wallahi, there is no greater reminder than being the one who places them into that grave.

We make du’a for every single one of them. We carry them with us, not just on our shoulders, but in our hearts. Until the day comes when I too will be carried, when I will no longer be the undertaker… but the one being undertaken.

I ask Allah ﷻ to take me when He is pleased with me, to grant me husnul khatimah, and to allow my name to be mentioned in the heavens amongst those who honoured the deceased and fulfilled their Islamic rights.

Because in the end, that is all that will matter.#themuslimundertaker #instagram #reels #death #trending
