SHAYNA & JOSHUA

Sometimes your person has been right there all along. 🥹✨

Shayna and Joshua grew up in the same community, went to the same church, and had known of each other for years… but it wasn’t until Joshua booked a dental cleaning and just so happened to end up in Shayna’s chair that their love story really began. 😂🦷🤍

Fast forward to their wedding day, surrounded by the people and places that have been part of their story from the very beginning. From their emotional vows and all the quiet little moments in between, to one seriously fun celebration... their day was romantic, joyful, sentimental and so completely them.

Getting to bring their story back to life through film has been such a special one, and I’m SO excited to finally share Shayna + Joshua’s full wedding film. 🥹🎥✨

Grab the tissues and enjoy. 🤍

Too many moments to choose from from this beautiful day. 🤍

This wedding meant a lot to me. Shayna was one of my very first youth girls when I lived on Vancouver Island, so getting to go back all these years later and photograph her wedding felt incredibly full circle.

I’m also so grateful I got to meet the love of her life and see just how perfectly suited they are for one another. 🥹 Getting to witness and capture this chapter of her life is something I’ll treasure for a long time.

Some love stories just feel like magic ✨🤍

I’m truly obsessed with Shayna & Joshua and just how incredibly beautiful their wedding day was. Their love is so effortless and genuine that capturing it on video felt like an absolute dream. 🥹🎥

This is just a little taste of their full cinematic wedding film that’s coming soon, but I couldn’t wait any longer to share a snippet of the cuteness because it’s pure movie magic!! 🥹🎞️✨

Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Hooker. 🤍 I seriously cannot wait for you to relive the rest of your love story when your full cinematic wedding film is ready. More movie magic is on its way soon! ✨

A moment for Ms. Shayna’s bridal bouquet. 🤍 When your kids’ favourite babysitter in the whole world asks you to do her wedding flowers, you pull out all the stops including dry-storing lemon peonies for seven weeks.

Only 55 days until “I do” for Shayna & Joshua (and I already know I’m not ready for this one) 🥹🤍

If this is the kind of magic they bring to the beach at golden hour… just imagine their wedding day!! 💍✨ Brb, mentally preparing myself to cry behind the camera as their wedding videographer next month! 😭💕🎥
