Session from last week!

Depth drops build the braking system — high-rate force absorption and stiffness control (ankle/knee/hip) so you can stop on a dime and keep posture when landing. That deceleration quality is what sets up a cleaner, faster takeoff.

Elastic jumps sharpen the rebound — rapid force redirection through the stretch-shortening cycle: short ground contact, minimal energy “leak,” and a quicker transition from eccentric → concentric.

Pin squats target pure concentric output — max force from a dead stop (no stretch reflex), improving starting strength and the ability to produce force when you don’t get a perfect dip or timing.

DB jumps connect strength to speed — adding load while staying explosive increases power by improving the ability to express Force × Velocity without turning it into a slow lift.

Vertical jump is the transfer check: can we express that braking, rebound, and concentric force as higher takeoff velocity when it counts.

All of these kids hit a PR in the last 2 weeks!

Max Velo Drops
Max Load Drops
“Near” Max Effort Box Squat
Max DB Load Jumps
Approach Jumps
Unloaded Jumps

Tons of PR’s today. Tons of smiles today.

We push them hard, we are demanding, but we love the kids.
