It’s hard to put into words what this game has meant to me. As my softball career comes to an end, I am filled with gratitude for the incredible opportunities it has given me. I could’ve never imagined how far this sport would take me or how significantly it would impact my life.

From all the slow-pitch championships, to four unforgettable years of high school softball, this game has been so much more than just a sport. Softball has taught me lessons I will value forever. I learned what it truly means to be part of a team and the feeling of putting on a jersey knowing I was part of something bigger than myself. It taught me about leadership, not just being loud, but being someone others can count on. It also taught me discipline. The kind that shows up early, stays late, and gives 100% even at practice. And most importantly, I have learned the value of resilience. The strength to push forward after setbacks, to grow through failure, and to keep believing even after a tough game.

The friendships I’ve made are lifelong, built through hard work, laughter, tough times, and great wins. I truly couldn’t have done this without the amazing teammates and people this sport brought me. Thank you to every coach who pushed me to be better, challenged me to grow, believed in me even when I couldn’t see it for myself, and taught me lessons that go far beyond the field. But above all, thank you to my family. I wouldn’t be where I am today without their constant support and encouragement. Their sacrifices made everything possible, because they were there, everywhere, every time.

Finally, thank you to the game, for giving me a lifetime of memories, countless teammates who turned into best friends, and much more I will carry with me forever. This is genuinely the hardest goodbye💔
