Meet Rosie, a 3-year-old German Shepherd whose story has been shaped by hardship for far too long.

Found alone in an abandoned apartment, Rosie showed all the signs of a traumatic past. She was terrified, completely shut down, and unsure of the world around her.

After being taken in by the incredible team at @gsgsr_org in Edison, NJ, Rosie spent time in several foster homes, learning to trust and growing more confident with each passing day.

But despite all the progress she’s made, Rosie continues to be overlooked, still waiting for someone to see the incredible companion she’s worked so hard to become.

She would do best as the only pet in a calm, child-free home where she can have the stability and security she’s always deserved.

Rosie doesn’t need someone looking for a perfect dog. She just needs someone to love her for exactly who she is.

Meet Forrest, a 1-year-old German Shepherd Dog with a remarkably resilient spirit.

Surrendered to @gsgsr_org in Edison, NJ at just 9 weeks old, Forrest was quickly diagnosed with a congenital spinal deformity that limited the use of his back legs.

But what he currently lacks in mobility, he more than makes up for in heart, proving every day since that he’s nothing short of a fighter.

Forrest is a social butterfly through and through, zooming around on his wheels and spreading love to every person, pup, cat, and kid he meets.

Watching him in foster care, you’d never guess how far he’s come. Forrest continues to get stronger with each passing day, and vets are even hopeful he could one day walk on his own!

After all he’s overcome, this sweet boy deserves a family who will celebrate and cherish him as he is today, and stand by his side for all that’s still to come.
