It’s been crazy busy at work lately . I am not sure anymore if it’s because everyone wants to get things done before the Lockdown 2.0 (which btw is not in sight) here or is it to make up for the work not done due to the last one. But it is quite hectic anyway.

Today I am here with #coffeeandcurrentlyreading or #currentlyreadingandcoffee challenge. I was tagged by @ezzies_bookery_nook & @magic.of.a.book to do this one quite some time ago now 🙊 I personally love doing the tag challenges but unfortunately after the lockdown was lifted, my Bookstagram hasn’t been the same. Tbh I am not even getting enough time to read. But better late than never. So here’s my #coffeeandcurrentlyreading challenge photo. When I took this photo I didn’t even realize that it doesn’t even show the title of my current read 😂 I only realized too late when I was editing it. So bear with me please.

I am currently reading One Day in December by Josie Silver. I am just a few pages in and I am loving the whole romcomy (Serendipity: to be specific) vibe of it. The story line is a bit cliched (like literally Love at First Sight Cliched) but hey anything is possible in a #yacontemporaryromance and we love it, isn’t it? 😄

I was tagged by @bookcase.reads a few days ago to do a #postapage challenge. This one was quite tough. Because there are so many pages in so many books that have my favorite quotes & scenes & prose. However I decided to post my recent fave.

This page is from the book The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah. This page had me sobbing so bad. It is where the two best friends, due the havoc the war wreaked on their lives, part ways for good. It is so heart breaking scene that I had to close the book for a minute just to gather myself and especially this quote...
