We were introduced to the beautiful people up at Quinta Messijana last year. The project has taken shape over the last three years, and a good friend of ours is now heading up their Make Forests Great Again project, which launches with its first volunteer weekend at the end of this month.

Make Forests Great Again turns green deserts back into forests. Starting with one hillside in Portugal.

There a few volunteer places for the weekend but nearly full.

Saturday 31st October, our good friends Maria Amor and Shcuro aka Paraiso will be playing ‘spooky’ ambient (yet to be confirmed 😉) under the trees with us to celebrate the first days’ work. Lisbon’s Paraiso and their beautiful ambience soundtracked Saturday afternoon at Bush of Ghosts last year and it’s a pleasure to be on home turf with them…

There’ll also be a small bar.

The gig is open to all. Please get in touch for details.

Get in touch if you’d like to come: message us on here and we’ll send the details. 🌲 🎃
