Dear soccer,

I really want to thank you for teaching me so many things over these 10 years. I want to thank you for bringing so many people into my life, and learning from so many others. Who knew you could have so much love for a sport you never thought would end in a blink of an eye. I have had some of the best coaches growing up, that has impacted my life tremendously, and each one has taught me something different. That not only sports, but life really is all about your attitude and mainly your mindset (which is hard for me to admit). That simply always asking your coach “how was your day” can go a really long way. My favorite was my nickname for all of my injuries. Most of all this past year, reminding myself everything is for the Lord. I will forever look back and cherish the butterflies I would get before the whistle would blow, the countless of yellow cards, the permanent turf burn scars and most of all, my friendships.

Thank you for being one of my first loves and now I am saying goodbye.

🏆Congratulations to this group of amazing ladies for winning the 2022 2A Women’s High School Soccer Championship🏆 They worked incredibly hard all year through multiple injuries to take the state championship title for the first time in their schools history!
