couldn’t think of a better song to describe this post let alone this season. I have always felt in the shadows through my sport Ive kept my head low and my voice quiet until last year when I felt seen because of every last one of these girls on this team. I can’t imagine playing any other sport and loving it with my whole entire heart..Im so great full for all of the support and lose forever friendships this sport has brought me. Never would I have imagined this to be the path that volleyball would bring me down. So much memorabilia surrounding me and also lingering in my mind and soul has made it so hard to let go and accept that it was the last time i’d play with that group. I am great full to have had the trust of so many to be a leader for this team im great full for the countless awards and recognization and will close this off by saying you lost the game! 😝😜

After 3 weeks of pulling myself together to make a post, here it is. Words cannot start to describe how thankful I am for the last 5 years of my life, and how extremely thankful I am for the family it gave me. I will forever cherish how hype we always got, chasing the block, and ofc making a historical season. I want to say thank you to the volleyball program for giving me more then I could ever ask for. I also want to give an even bigger thank you to my friends and family, without my family or my friends being at almost every single game and always talking me out of my bad thoughts, I wouldn’t be where I am today without your guys support, and it means the world to me, thank you. I will miss this team and all this experience, but I will forever miss my younger teammates: thank you all for always believing in me and pushing me(literally) to do my best. I will miss you all and do not worry I will be back, you all are going to shine. I will forever miss the staff we had along the way with us the entire time, not only my two coaches but everyone who would come along with them too, just meant more love and support (and sweet treats). All in all I’m going to miss this program like it’s my dead wife, and thank you to everyone for making me these memories I will forever have and cherish, I love you all. #3 signing out.
