Spring break provided many opportunities for our players to travel including a mission trip for some to Costa Rica. Hear from our players on their experience!

As a group, we travelled to Uvita, Costa Rica for spring break. We fundraiser for the missionaries in Costa Rica, and once in Uvita, we worked on building four terraces in the middle of the jungle so that the missionaries could provide fruits and vegetables by gardening. In the afternoon, we were able to explore the beauty of Costa Rica.

We were fortunate enough to be in the same city as one of the only all-female soccer clubs, "Afu Chicas.” At the end of one of the practices, a little girl came up to us and said she wanted to play college soccer at Davidson. The trip was humbling yet rewarding and we all hope to go back to Uvita, Costa Rica in the future.
