Secretly 3 months pregnant during this shoot, meant I was passionately guarding the snack station (whilst also asking everyone around me, “is it just me, or is it boiling hot in here”?)

I’m telling you, this was a super fun shoot! @shecraze was given a little direction and she killed it with her poses! This one being one of her creations she just happened to do in the moment and I said, “do that again, I liked it!” 🤩 She’s a beauty to work with inside and out. Very talented.

Loved every moment of this editorial & so thankful to every contributing artist. Featuring custom tailored suits in gender neutral designs by celebrated Fashion House @naidsfashion for Harper’s Bazaar! Big thanks to @okcmoa , it was such an honor to have showcased and included @kehindewiley famous painting entitled “Jacob de Graeff” as the focal backdrop for our photoshoot. This greatly generous opportunity to have photographed the work of such a legendary artist & visionary was not lost on me, and I feel such gratitude 🙏

Newsflash: the night before our shoot, I flooded (& bored) both model’s inboxes with vids from the 1986 film “9 1/2 weeks” (the scene wherein Kim Basinger is giving MAJOR burlesque vibes as she stripteases to the song “you can leave your hat on”). If you aren’t familiar with this scene, #yourwelcome
