TUSKEGEE AIRMEN
.
Went from growing up learning about them in High School JROTC program to engaging with the remaining members of this historic Legacy of Aviators! (Photo 1-2)
.
To taking on the challenge of following in their footsteps by becoming one of the few African American aviators within our United States Air Force. Blessed to create images of our own for our children to look up to. (Photo 3-4)
.
Finally to being apart of creating our own history as the very first all African American C-5 Galaxy aircrew tasked with delivery of much needed combat aid and supplies down range to Afghanistan in 2016. (Photo 5)

SSgt. Byle Shedrian Williams II 🛩️
From Riverdale, Georgia.
Since 2010

- Hated the thought of more years in school, with a price attached…
- I’m a rebel at heart and couldn’t stand the normalcy of a 9-5 job…
- Taught that jobs aren’t loyal where careers provide a commitment…
- Was taught & shown the benefits of working hard for capital (💲)…
- Love(d) video games and needed to finance my addiction…
- Was exposed to traveling and understood I wanted it for my life…
- My life wasn’t progressing the way I envisioned it should be…
- Pops served 22 years Army and I loved the prestige it came with…
- Pops always provided for my mother, sister and myself…
- Pops bought mom a foreign car and I wanted to mimic it…
- Have always had a passion for aviation & and infinity for airplanes…
- Always wanted to feel like being apart of a large Family/Network…

It’s pointless to out do people in the city when you outgrew the city. #RiverdaleVsEverybody
