Southern Homecoming will always feel like HOME. 🩵💛🐆

The forecast tried to scare us with all that rain but the weather held up and we had a GOOD time! We didn’t get the win we wanted 💔, but there’s nothing like being back on The Bluff for Homecoming.

Until next time… Jags all day! 🩵💛

Saturday night vibes 🥂

Game watching + birthday celebrating at @cheers_cigar_lounge! I wanted something casual but still a little dressed up, so this elevated casual look was perfect.

And you KNOW I had to sneak in a little Jaguar pride with the leopard print slides. 🐆💙💛

Hillman is back in session, so you KNOW I had to pull this one out for Throwback Thursday!

I wore this Hillman College tee to my 20-year high school reunion in 2022 as a little love letter to A Different World. That show made so many of us dream about college and HBCU life. 🫶🏾

And here’s the funny part: my entire outfit came from AMAZON. I remember taking this picture thinking, “I need to post this and share all the outfit details.” 🙃 Four years later, I’m finally doing the Amazon influencer thing I was already auditioning for back then.

Now a new generation is headed to Hillman on Netflix today, and this picture feels right on time. Who was your favorite A Different World character? 👀

Too old for first-day-of-class pics? Absolutely not! 😂

My girl is heading into her senior year at SOUTHERN UNIVERSITY, and this proud mama had to post anyway.

I’m so proud of the woman you’re becoming. Keep walking in your purpose, keep chasing your goals, and enjoy every moment of this season.

Your best memories are still being made. 💙💛

Twenty-one years ago, I was 21 years old myself… and my whole world changed!

Happy 21st Birthday to my beautiful daughter, Maia. 💖

From the day you were born, you were the most beautiful little baby doll. As you’ve grown, you’ve become everything I could have prayed for and more—kind, humble, funny, compassionate, intelligent, and beautiful inside and out.

As you step into this new chapter, I want you to always remember this: no matter how old you get, you will ALWAYS have your mama. I will always love you, support you, protect you, pray for you, and be in your corner.

Happy 21st Birthday, Maia. I love you more than words could ever express, and I pray God blesses us with many, many more birthdays together.
