Cats Youth Edition 24th May 2025.

I had so much fun in Cats. After rehearsing for months for both Jellylorum and Mungojerrie for different branches- I unfortunately broke my ankle whilst at rehearsal during rum tum tugger 😿

I didn't let it get me down and enjoyed performing with a pawly paw 🐾

I spent my afternoon standing silently outside Downing Street yesterday and took part in something that really mattered to me.

I joined an incredible group of women living with invasive lobular breast cancer for a silent vigil outside Downing Street, with 22 other schoolgirls from across the UK and 22 women. There was 2 other silent vigils taking place at the Department of Health and Social Care and the Department of Science, Innovation and Technology. There were also Vigils in many other countries and locations across the UK.

Being there as a student, was honestly overwhelming in the best way. Bringing our presence, and solidarity with a message that shouldn't be ignored. I was lucky enough to stand with my sister the assistant project manager and mum who is also involved with the project.

One of the most powerful moments was all of us coming together to sing “You’ll Never Walk Alone” with @garywilliamsuk It didn’t feel like a performance, it felt like a promise.

What really stuck with me is that there is still no specific treatment for lobular breast cancer. That’s why this campaign matters so much. Funding research into the basic biology of this disease isn’t just important, it’s urgent. It’s about saving lives now and protecting future generations.
I’ve learnt so much being part of this project, it's something really close to my heart. Susan Michaelis, the founder of the project was a very special lady and I am so proud to be standing here in her memory. Last year, I was standing with Susan and will continue to stand until research is funded.

‘Our Journey with Lobular Breast Cancer’ aired yesterday (April 22nd, 7pm) on @togetheruktv. It follows the stories of women like Susan and highlights the work behind this movement. I was very lucky to feature in the documentary, boxing up Susan’s beautiful roses to deliver to MPs.
22 women are diagnosed every day in the UK. That number stayed with me all day.

Grateful to everyone pushing this forward @tristan.loraine , @dehennadavison @helengrantmp , @johnmilne_horsham and so many others—and to the 464 MPs backing this work.
