WE’RE COMING BACK TO WHERE IT ALL STARTED!!! 🎄🙌🏾🔥
.
15 years ago, we hosted our very first Christmas banquet at the Lenfest Center. It’s been 8 years since we last held it there, but this year, As I Plant This Seed is coming HOME to @n10_phl to celebrate our 15th anniversary!!! 💚🌱
.
We’re talking live entertainment, a four-course meal, and a room full of love, laughter, and community! We’re putting our hearts into making this our BEST Christmas banquet yet! 🍽️🎶✨
.
If you were there in the beginning, you already know how much this means. The memories, the families, the children who are now grown… coming back to this building brings it all full circle. And getting to create new memories with another generation makes it even more special.
.
This is a BIG DEAL for our community! And if you don’t understand the excitement yet, stay tuned… we’re about to show y’all how dope and impactful this year’s celebration is going to be!!! 💯🎄🔥
.
Thank you @nikkijbagby for making it happen 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

We had a great run, but unfortunately, our community fridge has come to an end. 💔
.
This hurts because we know there were people and families who truly depended on it. To those who used it, respected it, and helped keep it stocked, we are sincerely sorry. We wanted to keep this going for you.
.
But I gotta be honest… we’re tired. The constant vandalism and disrespect we’ve had to endure just to provide free food for our community has become too much. It’s discouraging to keep pouring your heart into something and repeatedly watch it get torn apart. The people doing the serving get tired too.
.
Our love for the community hasn’t changed, but we have to recognize when something is no longer sustainable.
.
Moving forward, we will be accepting NONPERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS for the outdoor hub where the community fridge used to be. During the cold months, we will also accept refrigerated items through coordinated drop-offs so we can make sure they’re stored safely. Please contact us before leaving anything that needs refrigeration.
.
Thank you to everyone who donated, cared for this space, and helped us feed our neighbors. You helped make this possible for as long as it lasted. Please help us protect what we’re still able to offer. 💚🌱
.
S/O to the @royalsistersproject who we partnered with to bring the community fridge to Hunting Park

My brother Taj @menofcouragephl I’m checking in checking again in and giving a little insight into this journey of running a nonprofit organization.
.
People want the quick way, but where GOD has us and where He’s taking us requires time, patience, and a foundation strong enough to sustain what we’re building. Some things you just can’t rush.
.
For anybody trying to jump in this lane, make sure you love the work and the people enough to stay consistent when the funding is low, the recognition is quiet, and the responsibilities keep coming. Build relationships. Keep your word. Be willing to serve when nobody is watching. The community needs to know they can depend on you.
.
This work will humble you, but it also keeps you grounded in gratitude. We know it’s only by the grace of GOD that we have the strength to keep showing up and sustain what He’s entrusted to us.
.
Slow and steady still wins the race. Don’t let somebody else’s pace make you rush your process. You can grow and make a real impact without compromising your values or integrity. Keep your heart pure, put the work in, and let GOD handle the timing. 💯🌱

THE TALK TO ME MENTORSHIP PROGRAM IS BACK!!! 🌱💪🏾
.
We are calling ALL past participants and new youth to join us for Orientation Week at The Treehouse! For more than 11 years, Talk To Me has poured into hundreds of young people through real relationships, consistent mentorship and conversations that prepare them for real life.
.
This program helps youth strengthen their confidence, communication, emotional intelligence, decision-making, accountability and leadership. We create a space where young people are heard, challenged, supported and reminded that their lives have purpose.
.
The success of Talk To Me has never come from simply hosting programs or events. It comes from showing up week after week, building trust and remaining present as our youth grow. We believe mentorship should produce measurable change and there is no version of mentoring children without irrevocable responsibility.

Parent and Guardian Meeting at The Treehouse
.
Parents, if you want your child connected to mentors who will hold them accountable, build their confidence, help them discover their purpose and remain committed to their growth, bring them to The Treehouse.
.
Past mentees, come back home. New youth, come experience what makes Talk To Me different. Parents and guardians, we need you in the building too because the strongest results happen when the family, mentors and community work together.
.
THE STANDARD HAS BEEN SET. NOW LET’S GET TO WORK!!! 🌳💚

When you think about our youth and what it truly takes to get through to them, you realize that a lot of people simply aren’t willing to go through what it takes to genuinely pour into the next generation.
.
That’s why we embedded going “Up and Beyond” into the system of our programs. It’s not just something we say it’s the standard we set for anyone who believes mentoring youth can be a revocable act.
.
“There is no version of mentoring children without irrevocable responsibility.” ~ Ryan Harris
.
When you choose to pour into a young person, you’re choosing responsibility, consistency, relationship, and continuity. You don’t get to show up only when it’s convenient.
.
There’s no faking it with us. Either you’re willing to go Up and Beyond, or this might not be the right fit for you. 🤷🏾‍♂️
.
S/O to my brother @wolfwse and the homie @mr_jayhill for allowing me to drop some jewels on their podcast about what it truly takes to invest in our youth and how intentional relationships, responsibility, and continuity can turn community into an EchoSystem.

“Impact that does not echo is not impact. It is interruption.”

🚨 WELCOME TO TREEHOUSE STREAMING UNIVERSITY! 🎥🎮🔥
.
This week we’re turning The Treehouse into a live streaming house! Our youth will be learning the basics of streaming, content creation, interviewing, teamwork, and using technology to make a positive impact.
.
But this is more than just a fun camp theme…
.
We’re also testing our brand-new livestream technology created by my mentee @directortwo as we begin building a platform that allows our community to tell their stories, inspire others, and raise money to keep The Treehouse growing.

💻 Tune in live:
asiplantthisseed.org/livestream

🎙️ We’d love for community leaders, entrepreneurs, artists, business owners, and anyone with an inspiring story to:
✅ Hop on the livestream
✅ Pull up to The Treehouse
✅ Encourage our youth
✅ Help us raise funds for the future of AIPTS
.
Every view. Every share. Every donation makes a difference.
.
Let’s show the youth what’s possible when creativity meets purpose. ❤️🌱
