Some things are bigger than any one person.

The sport we love is worth showing up for, fighting for, and carrying forward. The 12th Wave is a promise that obstacle course racing still has a home—and that the people who built it, serve it, and believe in it are not standing alone.

This year, we dedicate Frontline OCR’s 12th Wave to the men and women in law enforcement who serve their communities with courage and commitment. We honor those who serve today, those who have served, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

On Memorial Day Weekend, we’ll come together to remember, to honor, and to prove what a community can do when it shows up for something bigger than itself.

Dangers of Kilimanjaro climbing, but view is worth it.

Climbing Mount Kilimanjaro is not technically difficult compared with major mountaineering peaks, but it can still be dangerous, mainly because you ascend to 5,895 m (19,341 ft) where oxygen availability is dramatically lower.

Congratulations to all of our Veterans who made it to the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest mountain in Africa! We couldn't be prouder to see our HAVOC make it to the top as well. 💪🏔️

Thanks to Sheep Dog Impact Assistance, our veterans from the USMC, U.S. Army, and U.S. Air Force were given the incredible opportunity to travel to Tanzania and take on Africa's highest peak—Mount Kilimanjaro.

This journey is about more than reaching the summit. Along the way, they're giving back by planting trees and supporting the local community as a way of honoring this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

We're proud to have them representing Uwharrie Outdoor, carrying the American spirit of service, resilience, and adventure wherever they go.

Join us in wishing them safe travels and a successful climb to the top. And stay tuned—there's plenty more exciting news coming soon.

We are proud to announce that UWHARRIE is sponsoring 10 brave veterans—men and women—who will take on the challenge of climbing Africa's highest peak, Mount Kilimanjaro, next month.

This incredible expedition is organized by Sheep Dog Impact Assistance, and we are honored to support these heroes as they push their limits and continue serving through adventure and resilience.

To commemorate this special mission, UWHARRIE has also designed and manufactured custom challenge coins exclusively for the Kilimanjaro team. These coins symbolize courage, commitment, and the unbreakable bond shared by those taking on this extraordinary challenge.

We wish every climber a safe journey and a successful summit!

Sheep Dog Impact Assistance, a northwest Arkansas-based nonprofit that seeks to help veterans and first responders as they transition to civilian life, has organized such outdoor adventures to get vets out of their homes and back into the field. Invariably, such signs of camaraderie bubble to the surface, a reminder of former lives and past brothers and sisters in arms. 🔗 Read the full story at the link in our bio.

They’re back at it, this time on Mount Kilimanjaro.

Veterans and first responders, side by side, pushing through altitude, fatigue, and the unknown, not for glory, but for growth, connection, and purpose.

That’s what Sheep Fog Impact Assistance does best: helping build a new chapter after service.

Whether climbing 19k feet above sea level or going below sea level on diving adventures, we are honored they trust the Vault Duffel for their missions.
