What. A. Weekend. 🧡

Dinner, drinks and Frankenstein at the cinema on Friday was the perfect halloween combo!. God it was insanely brilliant! I can’t stop thinking about it. Truly captivating.

Last night I had nostalgia overload seeing Busted vs McFly 🤎 I’m #TeamBusted forever. Those guys have still got it!

Tonight though, candles are lit, cosy blankets out, & Mate by Ali Hazelwood waiting for me on the bedside.
I’ve only managed 2 chapters since Thursday… oops 😅 Time to dive in.

Hope you all had the best weekend 🤎

Bungalow video tour 💫

I thought I’d do a room by room tour with some little videos of the spaces. I keep meaning to film a walk through tour to share but never get round to doing it - plus who ever has every room tidy at the same time?! 😂 who’s been enjoying the sun this weekend!? 🫶🏽

Sharing a few captures from this week which has been filled with sunshine 😍 feel like we’ve gotten way to used to this and then we were hit by a chilly day today and rain is on the forecast later this week 😭

The sunshine has got me making more garden plans and I’m so excited for what’s to come this year 🙊

and does anyone literally run round the house when it’s hot outside seeing what they can put in the washer? 🤣 thats me every time and if you keep scrolling ain’t that the cutest washload

S U N D A Y

Sunday freshen up, oh boy did our bed need it apparently. Did you see the amount of dust that came out of our mattress. 🤢. We’ve had ours around 2 years, it’s always had a protector on and I honestly didn’t think it would be that bad. But that first little clip of the filter.. yh.. that was just after half of the mattress.

Things you need to know:

Beat & Roll: the motorised agitator beats the mattress, penetrating deep into the fibres helping to remove embedded dust mites and allergens.

Vacuum : with thanks to the powerful suction, exposure to house dust mites and allergen are reduced.

UV light : this helps to reduce bacteria which will keep your mattress fresher

Drying : the use of 50 degree hot air helps to dry the mattress and prevent the spread and growth of mould spores.

Frosty mornings & Spring sunshine 🌷

I love the prettiness of a frosty start to the day followed by the beautiful sunshine 😍unfortunately it hasn’t been like this today but yesterday was gorgeous if a little bit cold!

The sunshine makes me so excited to get the garden in order. If you’ve been watching my stories I spent a small fortune on some evergreens this weekend and I only need a thousand more to fill this space 🤣 l figured if I buy them in stages it doesn’t feel like I’ve spent as much … oh and then there’s the summerhouse we are adding this year too 💸💸

New pillowcases from @sheetstoryofficial. They are so soft and are in the colour of sage green. They are a generous size and are so comfortable. Absolutely love them especially when clean and fresh.

Birthday weekend 🎈🥳⁣
⁣
Thanks for all the birthday messages over the weekend 🫶🏽 it was on Friday so I’ve had 3 days off and I’ll be honest I could get used to a 3 day weekend especially with the bit of sunshine we had yesterday!⁣
⁣
Sharing some cosy captures I took today as the weather has been truly miserable. If you scroll to the end you’ll also catch Lili 🐶 helping me open my birthday presents and the lush meal we went out for at a nearby restaurant that we didn’t even know existed. What a find! 😍 ⁣

Renovation plans ⁣
⁣
I didn’t actually think we had that many renovation plans this year until I started pulling this list together so here goes 🤣⁣
⁣
💫 Living room - we asked the electrician to fit lights behind the mantel years ago. Long story but he’s coming next week so fingers crossed it happens 🤞🏽 ⁣
⁣
💫 Hallway - we panelled the hallway last year which I haven’t shared yet as I’m waiting for this to be wallpapered. My lovely dad is doing this next week so hallway reveal is finally pending 🙊 ⁣
⁣
💫 Kitchen/snug - going to add a mantel above the fire & very tempted to stone clad the over mantel above the cooker 🙊 we also need to add a door to the utility. Thinking bifold split in half 😏⁣
⁣
💫 Office - I work in here a lot so this is an exciting one for me. IKEA Billy Bookcase hack pending but do we add doors or go for a full library wall? 🤔 ⁣
⁣
💫 Garden - lots to do in the garden! Patio extension is being finished next week. Plans to add an outdoor kitchen & firepit to the pergola are & LOTS of plants - or as we like to call them in the countryside, expensive rabbit food 🙄 ⁣
⁣
Think that’s enough to be getting on with for now 🫡🙈 ⁣
