Molly and Ariel’s intimate beach wedding in Malibu last month was truly special. It meant so much to photograph dear friends in our hometown, by the ocean, celebrating in such a relaxed and beautiful setting.

One final epic meal of the year to celebrate family and share gratitude for our health & happiness. We knew we wanted a fine dining French meal, so we brought in the legendary @samjsheff to create some old French dishes and reimagine some new ones. Might be my favorite meal of the year. @michelinguide take notice.

Chef Sam Sheff @sheffathome took on the challenge of recreating one of the most famous signature dishes from my parent’s French restaurant La Caravelle: the Pike Quenelles aves sauce Nantua. this dish has a special place in my childhood and he knocked it out of the park.

We ended the meal with one of my favorite desserts: The Coconut Cake by the talented @mark_wynsma
