There are certain state titles that carry a legacy unlike any other, and Miss Michigan Teen USA has always been one of them. Eliy, you honored that legacy from the very beginning. You didn’t come into this journey with years of pageant experience or every advantage. You came with courage, authenticity, and a perspective on life that few people your age ever have the opportunity to gain. Having faced obstacles that would have changed anyone forever, you learned early that every opportunity is a gift, every moment matters, and every day is worth embracing. You gave this title everything you had. Every appearance, every interview, every event. You never missed a beat because giving less than your best simply isn’t who you are. What I admire most is that you never tried to become someone else. You built your own brand by simply being yourself. In a world that often rewards carefully crafted images and manufactured stories, yours has always been genuine. Your strength, your gratitude, and your heart made people believe in you. You also reminded us of something I hope this organization never loses sight of: talent should be recognized, character should be celebrated, and opportunity should never belong only to those with the biggest budgets or years of experience. This stage should always be a place where every young woman has the chance to discover what she is capable of. You proved exactly that. Michigan has a history unlike any other, and you have earned your place within it. Not simply because you won the title, but because of how you represented it. Today was such an incredible experience! I’m so grateful for the opportunity to be part of a brand that has been a part of my journey since the very beginning. When I first started my health and fitness journey, I was wearing their largest-size bra. Today, I stepped in front of the camera wearing a size medium. The last slide represents more than just weight loss—it reflects a complete transformation in the confidence I have in myself and how I show up in the world.
