Every yellow balloon, every twist, every frame was built with intention โ€” to welcome walkers with hope, light, and community. We are delighted to announce that Annette is back creating more beautiful yellow additions for 2026 & a space where people can gather, remember & stand together for a brighter tomorrow

Last Friday night, we had our fundraiser of the year; music bingo in the Ashbourne house friday 27th September, and what a night to remember! @musicbingoireland ran the event and did an amazing Job and was so helpful and engaging from start to to finish! Highly recommend him for any event! We had music , dancing, singing and some serious prizes were won! A huge amount of prizes were donated from local businesses all over the town, all sourced by our own Lavinia! But we wanted to thank all of our sponsors for donating prizes which really helped us raise some much needed funds for the club! WIthout your generosity we wouldn't have been able to raise as much money through our raffle so thank you and keep an eye out in the ashbourne news this month for a special thank you! Sincere thanks to @sheilasballoons who very generously did the balloons for the night and made the room look fantastic and is always a great supporter to the club! And finally, to everyone who came on the night and dug deep into your pockets to support us! The overwhelming sense of community was really evident on the night, and the want and drive to help support or club was truly humbling! SHOUT OUT๐Ÿ—ฃ๐Ÿ—ฃ to @ashbournehousehotel in particular Joe who was incredibly helpful on the night! Nothing was a problem!!! A special mention to our senior team who have been with the club since they were 11 years old, showed up, dug deep and were hugely supportive! They have gone to the leinster league this year which is not only a huge commitment but a great representation for the club! Best of luck boys! Look out for our next event, coming soon but until then a massive thank you from all at Killegland!

A massive thank you to Sheila's Balloons for our wonderful photo back drop area inside the Jameson Stand & the fabulous balloon arch to mark the beginning/ finishing of our walk in Fairyhouse for Darkness into Light on Saturday morning. I have to mention Annette & her husband put hours into this on the Friday evening & it was wonderful to see the reaction we got from adding this new addition to the event. Wonderful smiles & memories were captured Our sincere thank you to Annette for volunteering her time & saving the day with some yellow ribbon last minute also. It really did take a village โœจ๐Ÿ’› @sheilasballoons @pieta.house @electricireland #darknessintolightfairyhouse #dil2023 #brightertogether
