Last night was like a big book tour hug! @veejoyful_authoress asked such wonderful questions and the readers at @thirdspacereadingroom turned the conversation into our own impromptu book club. Big thank you to the @thirdspacereadingroom for being such wonderful hosts and for making sure I didn’t leave Cleveland without having a polish boy. Shoutout to @comfort_cle! AND IT WAS DELICIOUS. I was nervous about the combination of slaw, French fries and smoked sausage but whew they go together RIGHT. Plus a slice of delicious peach cobbler pound cake not pictured but eaten. Shoutout to @veejoyful_authoress @sheischefmel @wellreadandratchet for coming along for the polish boy journey. Cleveland thank you for showing Never Tell a Black Girl How to Black Girl and me so much love.

Detroit you’re up next!

I spend a lot of time pouring into others—building, leading, showing up.

But tonight… I got poured into.

A surprise dinner, made with love, delivered with intention—and a family that made it clear they see me. That they appreciate me. That they love me.

And baby, I took that love straight to bed with my plate 🍽️ because tonight, we are choosing rest over rules.

Softness. Breath. Gratitude.
I received it all. 🤍

Shoutout to @sheischefmel for a delicious meal 💕

Thank you Rudy Jones and Phoenix for seeing me 💕

On the go doesn’t mean you skip the magic. ✨
When life moves fast, you just get creative about how you make moments special. This Valentine’s dinner was curated with intention, care, and a little luxury in between the hustle.

Special moments don’t require extra time — just the decision to make them count.
Chef did her thing. 🙌🏽 @sheischefmel
