There’s a wonderful light in the evening in Margate that even makes the back of my old potato head look quite good. 😅

Orca Fisher, some sort of oil tanker thingymajig, being towed backwards past our window. We don’t get many large work boats come past, I wonder where it’s going?

It’s been a funny old year. The usual ups and downs, the biggest downer being a little battle with gentleman’s cancer, which I’m glad to say I’m the other side of now. To celebrate my un PC status (no prostate cancer) I’m going to park myself at the bar of the Dog and Duck in Frith Street on my birthday (July 29th) and have a bloody good drink and a bloody good laugh. If you’re in the vicinity from about 4ish onwards that day pop in and let’s laugh at life together. If you’re not that’s fine too.

I was fortunate enough to see his retrospective in Paris last year, he was still producing at that time, a visionary! RIP David Hockney! ❤️

World Navigator just going backwards past our window. It’s designed to take 196 passengers to such far flung places as Antarctica, and hopefully stay away from any nasty bugs! 😅
