Reading Retreat was this weekend and we hardly opened our books.

It was less about finishing chapters and more about sharing stories, laughing until checkout time, and creating the kind of connection that only happens when you feel safe being yourself.

What started as “we like the same books” has quietly turned into real friendship, real support, and a girlhood I don’t take for granted.

Books brought us together. Connection keeps us here.
