Grateful to @policylink for the opportunity to participate in the 2026 PolicyLink Summit and help write the unfinished story of our democracy.

For nearly three decades, @musicchanginglives has used arts, education, entrepreneurship, environmental action, and civic engagement to help thousands of young people and families move from surviving to leading.

From @empowermenttopolicy and the @knowjusticeknowpeacemuraltour to #FoodforthePeople @uptownsanbernardinourbangarden workforce development, and wildfire recovery through #healdena our communities have shown what is possible when people closest to the challenges are trusted to lead the solutions.

“We the People” cannot remain words on a page. It must mean all of us coming together across communities, cultures, generations, and lived experiences to shape the policies and investments affecting our lives.

We’re bringing the voices of the Inland Empire, California’s creative community, and the families we serve into this national conversation, not only to share what we have accomplished for nearly 3 decades, but to build partnerships that can take this work further.

If you believe arts and culture can strengthen democracy, create opportunity, and transform communities, connect with us and tag someone who should be part of this movement.

This is our democracy.

This is our moment.

We are the people we’ve been waiting for.

Shout out to @acqie @mental_health_marty @empire.strykers @shelier_11 @zaha_30 @ballyaadtraining @udidacademy @creative_soul_ontario @ie_ncnw and everyone who made today’s youth soccer clinic in Fontana possible! ⚽️

The best part for me was seeing @josiahscores bring his friends out to try the game he loves, and then watching him step up and coach, encourage and help them learn.

That’s Jr. He loves to compete, but he also loves bringing others along with him. As a father, seeing him remain humble while using what he’s learning to give back makes me even more excited for what’s ahead when we launch #SportsChangingLives

And THIS is why we say he deserves to be @youthathleteoftheyear Not just because of what he’s accomplishing on the field, but because of the young man he’s becoming off of it.

If you haven’t voted today, click the link in our bio and please give Jr. your vote! ❤️⚽️
