Gordon from Kentucky joined me recently on a multi day flood tide trip. This was his first time flood tide fishing for redfish and they sure did treat us well! Multiple fish to boat each trip and some agressive eats to ponder on the way home ! It’s what it’s all about !

A few of the fish from a recent trip with @redfishroyale and @bradtaunton ! Brad is the heart and soul behind Jacksonville’s very own RedFish Royale tournament! We headed out to poke a few fish before it’s buckle down tournament time for Brad ! We saw an unbelievable amount of fish for a mid day flood! A great day and good times all around! It’s really what being a guide is all about!

Ben and Steve on the bow Low tide - Flood Tide !

3 days of fishing with this crew and the fish really made us work for it compared to last year ! Steve and Ben joined me for an all day fishing trip! We started off fishing the low tide where they each were able to stick a pig and false feed a few others ! Fast forward to the flood tide that afternoon and the fishing was slower but the right cast were made and accounted for ! The best time of the year is HERE and i only have 2 or 3 dates left for floods! If your seeing this and your not on my schedule. You are a little late but don’t hesitate any further! @goldingrasscharters

Steve joined me from Tennessee to experience his first flood tide! Steve has been all around the country chasing fish with a long rod and waisted no time using previous encounters to make the new ones count!

Some Low Tide Hammers for @benjimccormick_ and @cutthroatanglers on day 1 of the 3 day ripper we shared the skiff on recently! If there’s one thing about Ben, he can cast AND see fish! Helps a lot when you do it all summer In Colorado ! The fish were a little stubborn but that laser cast and ability to drop false count down to 1 shot really makes it count ! Stay tuned for day 2 🤙🏼

Fishing with a Great !

Marshall joined me on the water for a beautiful morning chasing redfish! The redfish treated us well but we put in some work for the good shots! The laser cast Marshall has developed over his years guiding in the Floridia Keys is one to be reckoned with! He’s been chasing permit and tarpon before I was born and hearing the stories he had fishing along side of some of the famous names you hear today will really stick with you ! This was one of the trips where I was able to learn more than my client and I’m forever grateful for the shared wisdom, the stories on the water and the fish we’ve both Come to love! These fisheries we are blessed with are so precious to the upcoming generations and we must collectively do all we can to protect them and treat them with respect! It was my pleasure to fish with you Marshall !
