So.. What's the impact of our work???
Is there any changes, that we made.

MOST OF THE TIME WE SAW VIDEOS ,
PEOPLE YELLING, THROUGHING FIRE BALLS, BLOCKED THEM FROM ALL AROUND 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️🐘🐘🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️🚶‍♂️

Though we are small organization, but from the beginning our target is " Work at ground 0 " Unless change is impossible .

Yesss still there is problem in many area but some of our targeted area, shows the result.
can see in video, 17 elephant entered into paddy field, but from one side people moving, only search light not too many but specific, and from far distance siren to alert people.

It's not one day results... It's a long process to change the mentality, from conflict to co exists

Communication with the local community is always the first priority to mitigate the conflict.
Without the help and support of the local community " Coexistence " Is just a dream.

After graduation I decided to dedicate my life for Elephants. Sadly many friends & family left me, for them I became Mad. But I found true meaning of life.
I found my guide and guardian Lek mam
Working with forest rangers, forest villagers & local tribes I learned many things.
From monitoring, antipoaching , Awareness to rescue.
This life reminds me a song of Ed Sheeran
" We are not beautiful "

Elephants are suffering. Yes, that's the truth. They are fighting for their own rights. In the next 10 years, situations will become more difficult for them. Habitat loss becomes the biggest threat for them. We are already suffering every day with the current situation. Corridor monitoring and conflict mitigation won’t solve the situation. From my field experience, I believe "habitat management" is needed as fast as we can. This year, elephants entered some new places that are not even on their traditional corridor. This increased the risk of human deaths from elephant attacks because those people hadn't seen wild elephants in the past. It's the result of encroachment and habitat loss. I felt very bad while dealing with this situation. A few days ago, I lost three of my aunts in a single day by musth bull 🐘attack . Dependency on the forest by forest villagers became a big threat for both. Habitat management in this landscape is not just about fodder plantations but also about creating a platform to remove the dependency of forest villagers on the forest. I tried years ago to create a grassland, but at the midpoint, the pandemic hits and we fail. But it's much needed right now for the future.

We, the "human", decide which elephants are good and which ones are bad.
It's not a case of one month or one year. It's a result of years of encroachment, deforestation, habitat loss!
And victim????
Those wild innocent animals!
Now 10 of them are pointed as "Bad elephants ".Now government has started their translocation from South Bengal to North Bengal.
But is it a solution???? Is this the way to save forest and wildlife???
If only they had the right to cast vote for any political party, they wouldn't have been separated from their family and home.

Political pressure for vote will destroy the wildlife.

One of the great rescue mission. This wild baby was abused by the villagers in Nepal, this time is migration season for elephants in this area. elephants use to visit this ( kolabari) area every year in this season and went to Nepal in the evening and came back to India in the morning as it's their old migration route . Few days ago somehow in the rain and thunderstorm the baby separated from the herd, next morning he face lots of torture already I posted. In the afternoon the baby somehow entered into Indian territory with the help of some Ngo members from Nepal, though in the evening mom and herd accepted the baby but in the next morning the herd left the baby. When forest department found the baby he was stressed, weak. Somehow they rescued the baby with the help of local people , even they did not give any anesthesia due to his weakness and stress, a local guy put his shirt into the eye of the baby to calm down and for stress relief. When the baby reached in a safe area doctor gave him saline and some vitamins . After few hours of tension the baby respond and standup and start eating banaana. Then after the decision from government,( as in west Bengal state only government can keep elephants in their shelter, *in India every state have different wildlife rule) we took the baby into government orphanage shelter almost 2 hours of journey. Now the baby is safe but justice is pending!! In this entire mission everyone play a most important role, 3ranges, 1wildlife squared villagers from maniram, and tukria, I'm honored to be a part in this mission and thanks to all to save this precious life
