A visit to the SUNSHINE COAST to visit the HIGHLAND COWS at The Soul Barn on Sunday.
It was worth the trip from Brisbane almost 2 hours drive with a bit of traffic to see these fluffy cows and farmyard buddies.
As soon as I sat the Kind Gentle Cows started to come over for a cuddle. I wish I could remember their names.
The sheep and Donkey also got in on the action.
Sunday was the first day opened to general public for Highland Cow Experience, the Soul Barn specialises in experiences and therapy and development programs.

After we have lunch at a Garden Cafe and dropped in to Ginger Factory and Nutworks Yardina for some tasty supplies.
Thanks to Monica for organising #farmexperience #SunshineCoast

3 DAY WEEKEND SCENIC RIM
First stop > ELDERFLOWER FARM
Pretty spot just off the main road and a worthwhile drop in. We got some yummy things at the farm shop.
Cafe, picking flowers available at selected times.
Second stop> ARTHUR CLIVEs BAKERY
Super popular BAKERY was very busy and after eating lunch there we know why.
CAMPING > LAKE MOOGERAH
Water levels were low and didn't go swimming but enjoyed hanging out with family and friends playing games and just hanging out.
LAST DAY
First stop > KOOROOMBA LAVENDER FARM
So much LAVENDER, and beautiful outlook.
Only stopped in to visit the fields , store and have a glass of wine, but I will go back for more.
Second stop > SUMMER LAND CAMELS
Last stop on our 3 day weekend. Another spot we have to go back to, for FARM Tour and Riding. But feeding the friendliest camels and having lunch was fun to wrap up the weekend away.

ANASTASIA the Musical is at Qpac.
It totally wowed me with the powerful vocals, beautiful set design and amazing costumes.

ANASTASIA the Broadway Musical, the romantic and adventure-filled hit musical inspired by the beloved film, in Brisbane from September!

This dazzling production, by the Tony Award-winning team Terrence McNally, Stephen Flaherty, Lynn Ahrens and Darko Tresnjak, transports you from the twilight years of the Imperial rule to the euphoria of 1920s Paris. ANASTASIA follows a brave young woman on a journey to discover the mystery of her past. Pursued by an army officer determined to silence her, Anya enlists the aid of a dashing conman and a lovable ex-aristocrat.

The story of Anastasia was new to me, but portrayed beautifully in this musical which also has a bonus Ballet ACT within the musical itself which was a real highlight.
The Royal Costumes were OMG and the Paris Night club costumes were super colourful 😍

Thanks to Marie Hillard for inviting me to this memorable experience 💖

Brazilian Fashion Show Highlights ✨️ my favs from the event photographer V. Creative Solutions

Fashion Show with Brazilian Vibes with models walking the runway in a variety of Brazilian Designers.
I loved the natural tones of many of the styles and natural materials.
There were active wear , pops of colour and woven fabrics showcased as well as many hand made decor and accessories.
The live music and MC kept the night entertaining and local businesses came to represent the Brazilian Community here in Brisbane.
It was a great night hanging out with friends.

Thanks for the invitation Brett D. Scott and congratulations to all involved.

RESIDENT EVIL hits cinemas everywhere 17th September but we got to attend a special media screening at EVENT Cinemas UPTOWN.
Can I just say I never expected to laugh so much watching this type of movie but I absolutely did.
It had the gross stuff and game references that RESIDENT EVIL fans will know and love but as a stand alone movie I thought the main character was a perfect choice.
