Cut Corners + Goat Farm present GRRL at GF on Saturday, 8/22, 8pm - midnight.

Experimental electronic artist GRRL (@grrlmusic), fresh off a new release with groundbreaking label PC Music (@pcmus), comes to ATL for a night of boundary-pushing electronic music, immersive visuals, and movement, framed by artist installations and an original stage environment. It’s the most fully realized expression of the Cut Corners experience yet.

GRRL is a Durham, North Carolina-based producer and DJ whose sound traverses techno, breakbeat, jungle, grime, and gqom. Since emerging on SoundCloud, GRRL has earned praise from Skrillex, shared stages with Anamanaguchi, Porter Robinson, and AG Cook, and hosts a long-running show on NTS Radio. Across multiple full-length releases and an expansive catalog of unreleased material, GRRL has built a reputation for adventurous electronic music that constantly pushes beyond convention.

A full lineup of artists will be activating the space including A2D (@bad_chroma & @potentflora), Shelly Boehm (@shelly.boehm), Colin Mulligan (@mull.colin), M.E.A.T. (@meatatlanta), Neel Shivdasani (@neel.shivdasani), and Valentina Vidali (@valentina.vidali).

Cut Corners (@cutcornersatl) is where music, immersive art, and spatial design collide. Through interactive installations, ambitious stage design, and a community built around movement and experimentation, each event transforms the dance floor into a space for collective creativity. The Cut Corners ethos? Don’t overthink it. Measure once, then make your move.

My birthday was on Monday and even though it wasn’t a special one (that’s next year) it was special to me.

My oldest has been living abroad for over a year now, so it was very very special to have both @briboehm and @shelly.boehm together, and at my birthday dinner. Yes… We ordered in pizza for dinner as I have one vegan, one dairy-free pescatarian, and a husband who is a meat lover. But don’t worry, I didn’t suffer😂. Pizza is absolutely my favorite meal on earth!!

you will want to watch this video with the sound on since my sweet husband didn’t make it onto the video, but you do get to hear him sing😂

of course it’s not a meal with my mom if she doesn’t make me laugh! You’ll have to watch/listen to the end to hear her comment.

*We order from @peaceloveandpizza because it’s the only pizza place around here with good vegan cheese.

Summer so far exploring art and tech with the Public Art Futures Lab has been full of creativity and curiosity!

1. Arts and Tech Ecosystem Field trip to @scaddotedu Atlanta Digital Studios to see the amazing film, animation, and sound design studios supporting student and community work in creative tech industries
2. Participants in the #atltechweek EmotionAI: Promises and Perils workshop led by Georgia Tech researchers and artists in the Future Feelings Lab respond to real-time AI readings of their facial expressions and perceived faces in a critical reimagining of EmotionAI tech.
3. Data analyst, poet, and artist Jay Morris guides a participant during the recent R/R Studio workshop at the Public Art Futures Lab that focused on data visualization for career and creative applications.
4. First Friday at @underground_atlanta featured Parallel Structures x @downtownatlanta Artist in Residence @shelly.3d leading a community discussion around ethical AI advancements
5. 21st Century Leaders Intern, Anoushka and PIN Interns, Akshara and Thaís co-facilitate a workshop at @fulcolibrary that animates children’s sketches and teaches the basics of animation and rigging.
6. Students at @fultonedamcc Summer STEAM Camp explore VR 3D Art Making
7. Young artists at a @fulcolibrary branch see their sketches come to life during a presentation of their animated doodles!
8. Artists learn the basics of anatomy to doodle a creature that can be animated using simple AI tools.

Blink feels like forever ago but I’m still processing this project! Artistic directing and illustrating this was a dream. I had the honor of working with some really talented people (@and.friends.studio ❤️) to pull off this 13 story projection for @blinkcincinnati in October. Dreaming up a vision of a future city, drawing every inch of it, getting it lit up, animated, and brought to life was an incredible process. Grateful for my team and everyone who came out to see this one 👼

Still feeling grateful from this years Thanksgiving celebration. Not only have I been blessed with a beautiful blended family and a fun and healthy mom who is still going strong (we lost my dad over 25 years ago, so it’s just the two of us now); but I have also been “given” this amazing chosen family! We have been celebrating holidays with @hfirfer, @mshawnarnold, @sogoodcosplay and @dmichaelgood for more years than I can count. From Thanksgiving to Yom Kippur, these people have become family to me. They fill my life with so much happiness and a sense of belonging. I am so grateful for ALL of them ❤️
