We're back with more of the #actors at the heart of #Drowning.

Many talented artists helped bring the ensemble together, fueling this powerful story to life—one character, one struggle, and one breaking point at a time.

This is the world of Drowning! 🎥🌊

Still buzzing from the warm hug of an afternoon with @purecreativegold kicking off their inaugural conversation series. Thank you thank you to @kairaakita for creating such a welcoming, grounded, supportive and downright beautiful space to speak from the heart.

Thank you to my wonderful cast of actors who brought the script to life with such commitment and attention to detail. @nagdoggie #lilyknight @elenacampbellmartinez @jean_jeanay and @vega.llp - y’all are the absolute best - thank you so much for for sharing your time and talents.

Huge kudos to @bryandonnell_dp and @shaggybearlodge for sharing your time, equipment and skill. Boy am I lucky to call you both family.

And, lastly, thank you to the wonderful audience of friends, family and (now-no-longer!) strangers who listened and engaged with such curiosity, empathy and openness. The energy was palpable and I thank you for sitting in that space with us.

Talking about mental health, generational trauma and how we share complex personal stories in an ethical and intentional way is not always easy. In a world more and more dominated by the negative, the bland and the immediate, it feels increasingly urgent to champion growth, individuality and process.

Can’t wait to see what @purecreativegold has cooked up for us all next.

Mental Health Awareness Month x Mother’s Day post.

Mamas, let’s get down to the raw, vulnerable conversations that expand our understanding of motherhood. Let’s celebrate mothers who keep it real about postpartum mental health; single moms who nurture chronically ill children on almost no sleep; anxious, brave mamas who don’t give up on their purpose because they want to show their girls that dreams often take time, but with hard work, come true; and the very special ones who put food on the table with little to no childcare or family support.

You and every other mother are the heroes of the day.
EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.
