This weekend was full in the best way. Friday night, I experienced Pura Vida with @lemigasocialhouse, invited by my friend BJ @themodeldoc . We connected, danced, laughed, and simply enjoyed being present. It felt good to be in elevated community, to make new connections, and to experience joy outside of work and responsibility. Saturday, I had the opportunity to serve as a vendor at the Nurture ATL Wellness Fair with @hmhbgeorgia where I connected with @shennamari with Amerigroup, March of Dimes @marchofdimes, D’aja with @mommy.blooms , and so many others doing meaningful work for mothers, babies, and families. Then I rounded out the weekend at my son’s soccer game where his team won as they ended the season before their final tournament.⚽️ And today, I’m enjoying a quiet Sunday at home with my family.❤️ This weekend reminded me that it’s okay to be all of who I was created to be: Wife. Mom. Friend. Physician. Entrepreneur. Jessica. Not one role at the expense of the others, but a full life where each part matters. ❤️ I’m grateful for connection, purpose, family, and the reminder that joy belongs here too.🙌🏾 #PurposeAndJoy #PhysicianLife #MomLife #WomenInMedicine #CommunityAndConnection

Family STEAM Night at SLAM Atlanta on April 16 was one for the books. Families showed up, got hands-on, and really tapped into what learning can look like when it’s active, fun, and meaningful. From experiments to problem solving, the energy in the room was exactly why we do this work. Moments like this matter. Exposure matters. And giving families the space to learn together makes it stick. Balancing the Equation is just getting started.
